Script: My name is Tom, and I am a bus driver in the city. 我叫汤姆，是一名城市公交司机。 Every morning, I start my day before sunrise. 每天早晨，我在日出前开始我的一天。 Today felt different, though I couldn't explain why. 今天感觉有些不同，但我说不出为什么。 I arrived at the depot and checked my bus. 我到达车场，检查了我的公交车。 Everything seemed normal, so I started my route. 一切看起来正常，于是我开始了我的路线。 The first passengers were sleepy commuters. 第一批乘客是一些昏昏欲睡的通勤者。 They greeted me with polite nods as they boarded. 他们上车时礼貌地点了点头向我致意。 My route took me through busy downtown streets. 我的路线穿过繁忙的市中心街道。 The morning traffic was heavy but manageable. 早晨的交通很拥堵，但还算可以应对。 Suddenly, I saw a young woman running towards the bus stop. 突然，我看到一位年轻女子向公交站跑来。 She looked desperate, waving frantically. 她看起来很着急，拼命挥着手。 I decided to wait for her, opening the door as she arrived. 我决定等她，她赶到时我打开了车门。 "Thank you," she gasped, catching her breath. “谢谢，”她喘着气说道。 She took a seat and the bus continued its journey. 她坐下后，公交车继续前行。 A few stops later, an elderly man boarded with a large bag. 几站后，一位老人提着一个大包上了车。 He struggled to lift it, so I helped him. 他费力地提起包，我便帮了他一把。 "You're very kind," he said with a grateful smile. “你真是太好心了，”他带着感激的微笑说道。 The bus was soon filled with chatter and laughter. 不久，车厢里充满了聊天声和笑声。 As we neared the end of my route, I noticed something odd. 当我们快到终点时，我注意到一些奇怪的事情。 A small box was left on one of the seats. 一个小箱子被遗留在座位上。 No one claimed it, and it looked suspicious. 没有人认领它，而且看起来有些可疑。 My heart raced as I pulled the bus over and called the police. 我心跳加速，将公交车停下并报警。 The passengers were calm, but curious. 乘客们保持冷静，但充满好奇。 The police arrived quickly and examined the box. 警察很快赶到并检查了箱子。 They carefully opened it, and everyone held their breath. 他们小心地打开箱子，所有人屏住了呼吸。 Inside the box was a kitten, scared but unharmed. 箱子里是一只小猫，受了惊吓但毫发无损。 The passengers sighed with relief and smiled. 乘客们松了一口气，露出了笑容。 The police thanked me for my caution. 警察感谢我的警觉。 The kitten was taken to a safe place. 小猫被送往了安全的地方。 As the day ended, I felt proud of my quick thinking and care for my passengers. 一天结束时，我为自己的机智和对乘客的关心感到自豪。
