Bjartalid is pure class. So is right fullback, Danielsson. Domestically, KI Klaksvik seem the most ambitious and professional club. They deserve credit: board, players, supporters, local businesses, etc.. I wonder, though, why Faroese talents, e.g. those named above, do not leave for clubs abroad: Nattestad (best defender in the country), Faroe, Vatnsdal, Shaki Joenson (always liked his technique, vision and commitment) are players that spring to mind who recently have RETURNED to Faroese football, and none of them is past their prime. We (I say 'we', as I have fallen in love with the Faroe Islands) need eleven full time professionals making up the national team's line-up. I know Corona is an obstacle, of course. But the team look so well-balanced at present... And even if the standard is amazing, bearing in mind the small size of the archipelago, we could go on to do even better, I reckon. (And Meinhard Olsen managed a move to a Swedish club of high standard despite present conditions, so it is still possible.) I hope foreign clubs will open their eyes and scout the top players in the Faroese premier league. The work ethics of the players over there is unique, world class

Dundalk are not as good as they used to be but i'd be surprised if their central defenders are as bad as Tbilisi's were here. The 2,3,4 goals were down to really dreadful defending. They looked dazed. It's a great story though and I wish Klaksvik all the best from Ireland.
