this particular song isnt stylistically dark or cold wave. Im hearing dream pop, nordic pop and dark ambient. If compare this to some of their cold/dark wave tracks like Kalt or even Draumadis, you can hear the genre shift. You can also hear the dark wave basis that Sólstöður had vanish in this song. Now I adore this sound, its absolutely eargasmic, just i want to note that the reason they collaborated is likely the dream pop element which is related to Alcests shoegaze/blackgaze.
