I strongly disagree with your comment pertaining to Torontonians being 'less fortunate' than Montrealers when it comes to the availability of fine dining establishments offering great food! I can attest that cuisine offered by our establishments like Frilu, Alo, Edulis, Enigma, Don Alfonso, Actinolite, George, Scaramouche, Canoe.....etc can easily rub shoulders with most of Montreal's best. In fact, my recent meal at one of Montreal's finest and most iconic establishments - ' Joe Beef ' was disappointed and subpar, the food overpriced and overrated!! BTW, the Foie Gras offers by Lucie is Duck Foie Gras ( Foie Gras de Canard ) and NOT Goose Foie Gras ( Foie Gras D'Oie )

I disagree! In fact Lucie's pricing and quality is one of the better deals in town!.....and if Michelin awards it a star down the road, for sure the price will increase further! FYI, cost of fine dining in Toronto has gone through the roofs recently! Frilu charging $360 for the tasting menu with compulsory beverage pairing. Enigma is a whopping $360 for 8 courses excluding beverages, tips and tax. Alo's regular tasting menu is now $285!!
