This unique bengali new fairy tales is about a fisherman's daughter who lived in a village near by the sea. She loved to walk by the sea. But one day while walking around she sees a big ear. But then she drowned. The fisherman and his wife became very worried as they could not find their daughter. Actually a mermaid brought the girl to the bottom of the sea. A huge sea giant protected their kingdom. He had only one ear. But that ear had an infinite power. But one day a monster woman tricked the sea giant and cut off his ear. As a result he can no longer protect the sea kingdom. But in the end the bad monster woman died and the sea giant gets her ear back again for the little girl.
