Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS is probably a name not so familiar among bikers, yet. However, the name Bajaj Avenger is a fairly common name among bikers. Most bikers know Avenger as one of the very few budget cruisers available in Bangladesh. This is mostly because there aren’t many trustworthy brands that bring cruisers to Bangladesh. After years of ruling the highways, Bajaj has finally brought a new addition to the lineup. Here we will be talking about the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS.
Bajaj is one of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the South Asian region. Bajaj has such influence that they have also joined hands with a few of the top motorcycle manufacturers. Some notable examples are Kawasaki and KTM. Bajaj has quite a lot of motorcycle series that have been deemed renowned by bikers. Some of these series are the Pulsar series, Avenger series, Dominar series, and many more. The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS came out in 2019 and instantly churned out curiosity.
Key Features:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS is a cruiser by Bajaj. It has all the characteristics of a proper cruiser. The bike has a stretched-out seat with pushed-forward footpegs. All of this is topped with raised handlebars and a long windshield. The overall bike is perfect for comfortable touring. The rear of the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS also has a huge grabrail for the pillion to hold on to.
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with the classic circular instrument cluster. However, they have not updated the instrument cluster in any way, shape, or form. The instrument cluster includes only the speedometer, odometer, and trip meter. The speedometer is analog, while the other features are digital. The fuel indicator and other necessary indicators are located on the top of the tank.
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with single-channel ABS. The single-channel ABS is set up at the front only. The rear does have a speed counter, but it doesn’t have any ABS. The ABS brings the braking of the bike to a whole different level.
The length, width, height, and weight of the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS are 2210mm, 806mm, 1070mm, and 156kg respectively. The bike is naturally on the heavier side as this is a cruiser. The bike was made to conquer the highways, not the city streets, hence the weight is good enough. The bike has an average wheelbase of 1490mm, which makes sure that the bike is stable in the corners.
Engine and Transmission:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with a hybrid engine. The hybrid contains the DNA of the Bajaj Avenger 180 and Bajaj Pulsar NS160’s engine. It has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, and 165cc engine. The engine is fuel injected and Air-cooled and has DTS-i technology. The engine pumps out around 15PS of power at 8500rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is quite smooth, but at higher RPMs, there are chances of vibrations.
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS has a wet multi-plate clutch system. It has a 5-speed gearbox, which is suitable for cruising. The bike is expected to have a top speed of around 115-125kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS has a disc-drum brake setup. The front brake is a disc brake that comes with ABS, and the rear brake is a drum. The front brake is expected to perform quite well, as the disc has a large radius of 280mm and also because of the ABS. The rear wheel would have performed its best if it had a disc brake instead of a drum.
The front of the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS has telescopic forks as the suspension and the rear has two 5-step adjustable shock-absorbing suspensions. The front suspension is expected to respond well as most telescopic suspensions do. The rear suspension will perform better due to the adjustability, which is a function more than often too rare. ভাই আমি উত্তরা মোটর এ জব করসি এদের পলিসি ভাল না বেশী লাভ করতে চায়। দাম কমালে এই বাইক অনেক বেশী বিক্রি হবে। উত্তরা মোটর বেশ কিছু দিনের মাঝে দেওলিয়া হয়ে যাবে। আর রানার উত্তরা মোটর এর সব কিছু নিয়ে যাবে।
