Assalamualaikum sir . I'm a student from humanities background also an admission candidate at this moment . Now that GST result has been given I've the opportunity study in the subject Economics but I'm kind of struggling to figure out which subject will be beneficial for my career also that's quite easy to have good CGPA. Sir I just want to quick mention that I was a student of science background till SSC then I shifted to Humanities . While studying in humanities from Holy Cross College I had that subject Economics. To be very honest I never really struggled with economics in hsc level , those graph and calculation seem okay for me. But I heard in Hons Economics is considered as one toughest subject to pass or maintain good grades. this thing terrifies me since I haven't done any maths of intermediate level ( Calculus and other topics which I heard is required for Economics) but just like I mentioned sir that I'm good at graphs or statistics . Now my question is will it be a good decision if I choose Economics ?

Walaikum Assalam, Economics itself is a very broad subject field. In bachelor level, you will be taught in detail about economics subject. But it depends on university course structure. There might be some subjects which will have calculations like microeconomics and macroeconomics. On the other hand, there might be some of the subjects which will have calculus calculations like basic econometrics and advanced econometrics. It will be an advantage if you are good in graphs and statistics. There are lot of theories to learn also. Best of luck 🤞
