Angles! A fundamental concept in geometry. Here's a description of angles and their types:
What is an Angle?
An angle is formed when two rays share a common endpoint, called the vertex. It's measured in degrees (°) and represents a rotation between the two rays.
Types of Angles:
1. *Acute Angle*: Less than 90° (e.g., 30°, 60°)
2. *Right Angle*: Exactly 90° (a perfect corner)
3. *Obtuse Angle*: Greater than 90° but less than 180° (e.g., 120°, 150°)
4. *Straight Angle*: Exactly 180° (a straight line)
5. *Reflex Angle*: Greater than 180° but less than 360° (e.g., 210°, 270°)
6. *Complete Angle*: Exactly 360° (a full circle)
7. *Zero Angle*: Exactly 0° (no rotation)
8. *Complementary Angles*: Two angles that add up to 90° (e.g., 30° + 60°)
9. *Supplementary Angles*: Two angles that add up to 180° (e.g., 120° + 60°)
These angle types are essential in various mathematical concepts, like trigonometry, geometry, and engineering.
