how do you determine the value for k? It his case k = 5? Is this something random?

K has to be supplied in the start, which is also a disadvantage for KNN. (Probably)

The rules are the same, you just take calculations to higher dimensions. It was would hard to visualize it however you can still implement the calculations in matrix/vector form
