Can i ask why they can’t have girlfriends? I basically know that they need to protect their image as an artist but they are men, you know what i mean?! Especially for young men it‘s surely very hard. I don’t think that they are abstinence even if they want to be. I mean maybe 2-3 out of 7 but not all. I don’t think that all Korean boyband members can’t do that or are. @@beyza9865 (sorry if my english is not perfect) the prohibition for idols to have GF or even BF is a completele cultural shock for me either, I think it´s related wih the conception that idols "belong" to their fans and the company.... so...they need to be totally focus on that, and having a "huge distraction" like a relationship, in a very twisted point of view, could make them less productive (?). I also believe that all the fandom is built up over the idea of "romance" between fans &idols so if this illusion is break their succed could be over especially in Korea, where I have seen a tremendous oposition for "their" idols acctually having a life... they kinda treat them like their belongings/ dolls idk, of course for international fandom the most normal thing is knowing the are dating someone but not in korea.
