This is one of my favorite songs and it, along with Blood, Sweat and Tears, is a masterpiece of story telling and addressing the elephant in the room: what happens when an Artist loses their passion for their craft? Did you notice they are all barefoot in the MV? I love Black Swan. It is even better live. Both J-Hope and Jimin had several years of dance experience prior to joining Big Hit. J-Hope was in a dance crew in his hometown of Gwangju (Neuron was the dance crew's name and also the name of one of his songs from his HOTS Vol. 1 album that came out in March 2024). He does a lot of freestyling but can really do just about any type of dance. Can you also please do a reaction to Mic Drop and Danger dance videos . They are very good. Also a must is MAMA 2019 award show. These are all so good.

Their fear of one day waking up and not having their passion for what they love or being unable to produce due to their own mental block. Their dancing and video reflect an homage to black swan movie and an artist losing sight of themselves. Mirrors not reflecting reality, shadows not moving in tune themselves. Their arms extend and flap like swans. The artistry is insane. at the end, Suga says he went deep into himself and found who he was. Never to be dragged away. Depression or artist blocks drags him down but in the end he came back up. Their talent is unreal. And their ability to portray their inner thoughts through song is amazing. Keep up the discovering’

Just so you know, Black Swan is actually about a ballet dancer and is a very emotional story. That's why a lot of the dance is very ballet and interpretive. I do suggest reading that to maybe understand the song and video even more. 😊 It's also great to read about it for your own inspirations. 😊

Jhope and Jimin both make sure the choreo is on point. Jimin tends to add the special touches to the choreo. The hat trick, the kiss on the hand, the positioning of them on stage etc. Jimin trained in all forms of dance. His chosen speciality is contemporary dance. He is the Black Swan. Martha Graham the founder of contemporary dance said that if a dancer loses his/her passion for dance it would be their first death. So, imagine Aqua losing your passion for music, lyricism or even your passion for life.

Hey Mugi! How did you get into BTS? I want to introduce them to my friends, but they are too stubborn thinking bts is just some poppy boyband and won’t give them a chance. The only time they watch kpop is when it’s the girl groups dancing with skimpy clothing. 🤦🏻‍♀️
