"Levanter" is one of the songs which helped me on my way back to the real me. But he reacted to Levanter, so I didn't recommend it again. "B me" is another one with lyrics, that comforted me in that time.

I'm 53 and went deep down the Stray Kids rabbit hole all by myself. My 20 yr old kid thinks I am crazy, and coworkers think I'm in a mid-life crisis. But, as many STAY can probably understand, skz actually WOKE ME UP from that crisis. I just want to live out loud now! Stray kids was the catalyst that helped me bring joy, fun and ridiculousness back into my world. They mean so much to me. And this community of Stays is amazing! I got into K-pop by finding BTS. I listen some other groups too, but Stray Kids feels different. And I am not talking about the fact that they are producing and writing their ow music, more like you can feel their songs deep in you bones and it touches your soul. Doesn't matter if it is a high energy song, an upbeat song or a darker song, you know that they were wrote with intention, it affects you. Me and my psychologist often talk about their music ( I made her a fan, too, yes, I am very proud of it xdd) and she always says that there is so much more behind it than just simple music, they put their soul into the songs, and you can feel it.

@@BranReacts Ditto to what @sharinistic said, and also there is a Japanese music channel called THE FIRST TAKE that invites artists on to sing live, in one take. STRAY KIDS were the first not JAPANESE artists to appear on there and they now have 5 of their Japanese songs, including SCARS. I highly recommend it for once you've watched an MV and want to watch a live, in one take version - really showcases their voices, and has English subtitles. Their recording of SCARS is gorgeous and I think you'll enjoy it very much.

The song that plays at the beginning of the "I am You" MV is another of their songs "My Pace", and about "Scars" not having subtitles, it's something you only see on their Japanese releases, but if you're interested they have performed "Scars" and other of there songs on yt channel THE FIRST TAKE and they have subtitles for these songs, this live performance is as good if not better than the recorded version, definitely recommend checking it out. I'm glad you're enjoying your journey through their discography.

Honestly I didn't comment on your On track reaction but I'll do it now. Your reaction really touched me, it was 2am for me so I guess I could kind of understand a little bit how you felt and knowing how much Stray kids help me, I really hope you'll find this in Stray kids or in anyone really ! If you want lyrics that touch you, stray kids are definetly the one, especially the I am trilogy. The I am trilogy in their first 3 albums : I am not, I am who and I am you. They explain 3 different struggles and are honestly really important to me. It can mean 2 things, either you don't know who you so you search and find or I am not who you think I am. A little recommendations of songs with lyrics that literally changed me : Side effects, Slump english version (don't have a MV sadly) and Another day (don't have a MV either). You have also some solos like Alien (by Han), Streelight (Changbin ft BangChan) or Hate to admit (BangChan). The three persons in the solos are 3racha, the one who produces like 97% of stray kids songs. To talk a bit about the MVS, yes they are incredible and so beautiful, Scars being their most beautiful in my opinion. The song you heard in the start of I am you is My pace, the title track of I am who, the album that was released before. Also what you saw before or after the MVs are actually soemthing to do with their storyline, because some kpop groups have story lines ! And I know you probably heard of it but if you are interested, Stray kids are going to have an album the 2nd of june ! And you can watch their teaser if you want ! You also have 5 unveils so far (one that was literally just released) but it spoils the songs if you don't want to be spoiled

They actually changed me so much, I’m SO glad they found me I can’t even put it into words. During and after the pandemic I suffered from depression and anxiety, had to visit a therapist as well. Getting into Stray kids helped me so much, they made it so easy for me to laugh end enjoy myself when I was down. It took me some time but they made me look at myself from a whole other perspective which was something that helped me getting more comfortable and confident in myself. They literally were my therapy and it only took a few months to pretty much heal me, I just hope they’ll stay by my side forever and that they will be able to help many many more people in the future

If you want to see them do these types of songs I highly suggest watching a Japanese show called The First Take. They get one take to do the song and its live so you can see how amazing they are vocally. Songs they have done on there are Lost Me, Case 143-Japanese Version, Scars, Slump, Mixtape: OH. The Japanese songs don't have subtitles but can always check out a lyric version at some point. Happy you are loving our SKZ.

I'm not even the artist and yet I feel the appreciation 💖 Bang Chan (member of Stray Kids + the leader of the group, songwriter, composer and producer of their discography) tends to watch reaction videos because he likes to see what people think of their work. Straykids have really helped alot of us Stay , for me personally I went through almost 4 years of mental and physical abuse and nothing could distract me from it after I got out and away from that horror until I found Straykids and I've been happier and just mentally better since then ❤ Straykids for us is our home , safety and comfort so I hope for you will also feel that way about Straykids and I hope they make you feel happy and cheer you up ❤x

I'm really enjoying your journey so far, I'm still technically a Baby Stay ... I started my deep dive down the rabbit hole last December. I have been a Stray Kids fan since the Double Knot english ver popped up on my fb feed way back but I didn't really look into them fully until last December. I think continuing on this melodic meaningful path, Secret Secret and the answer song, Silent Cry are a must. I love all their songs, I am YOU is my favorite so thank you for reacting to it! My Pace is a great hype song, and I love Cheese as well, Cheese is technically a dis track, they are answering some of the hate comments they had received, but they do it in a sort of fun way.

Levanter is one of my favorites, maybe in my top 3. I feel it deep, I must’ve had it playing on repeat for 2 or 3 weeks straight at one point. Others that I recommend for the melodic lover (which I am as well) are Star Lost, Silent Cry, Secret Secret, (anything from the Noeasy album actually), Lonely St., Waiting for Us, Gone Away… I could actually go on forever. So at this point, just start from the beginning and work your way forward. Also, check out some of the lore videos to understand some of the more cryptic symbolism in their MVs. They put in so much thought into all their work, it’s truly amazing.

Stray Kids aren’t afraid of touching on different snd highly emotional subjects! Chani ( BangChan) insisted from day 1 that they will be real! For ever emotion there is the perfect song from Stray Kids. For me it's easy to choose cause I now every song they ever produced 😊 When I need something to hype me up I'm listening to my pace, easy, double knot, district 9, freeze or something like that. When I'm having a hard time I'm listening to hellovater, mixtape:oh, I have to admit, red lights or something like this. A special place in my heart owns chronosaurus.. this dong saved me in the time I got my new job and didn't think I ever would be good enough for it... I will always be so thankful to Stray kids , especially to Chan for always giving me the feelings to push myself to the best I ever can be. I found my soulmate in Chan cause I'm a workaholic, perfectionist too with insomnia, and no one of my entire family/ friends knows how I'm feeling like this. Can't wait to see more from you.. One of the reasons why Stray Kids music really reasonates is probably cuz they write it by themselves. And by write i mean 99.9% lyrics are written by them. Japanese lyrics have others cuz there are translators. As for music production/composing they do have one or 2 more people in credits but 98% its Stray Kids themsleves. Some songs are their own experiences like Slump by Han when he was really in slump and couldnt write songs. Also Levanter even has a English version. I really love that too.

As someone with a painful past as well The heart and honesty that Stray Kids provides in their music is so healing. Glad you found the boys and are going on this journey with fellow Stays. Stray Kids just have that special something. The song that made me a Stay is Miroh (because I do love an EDM beat) so I am going to suggest that, Side Effects and District 9 for some dance vibes. Muddy Water, Tortoise and Hare and 3Racha for a little rap. Taste, Starlost and Waiting for us for some vocal line love. You're doing great, keep it up!

Welcome in Stayville. I found them last year in march, just a few days before the ODDINARY Album dropped. I never listend to KPop before, but this group just entered my heart so fast, that for a few weeks I could not listen to something else. So many good songs, so nice and goofy people. They brought joy to me live and helped me to get back to myself with their incredible lyrics and music. Some of my favorits: Secret Secret Double Knot Easy Chronosaurus Blueprint Get cool TA Red Lights (the first one I saw from them) The Tortoise and the Hare You also should watch their Album-Trailers. They are really like Movie-Trailer and don't spoil the music (like the Unveil-Clips do). They give a hint of the mood and over all theme of the album. The long one for ODDINARY is so good. I’m really loving your journey, Bran. Agree with @biba ris that you’re one of the only reactors I’ve seen slide into SKZ via their slow songs. Most find them via their energetic EDM, hard hitting raps, thirst traps even, but what keeps most of us staying are the comfort, affirmations, happiness and humour in their lyrics and who they seem to be as people. That seems to be the path you’ve started with and it’s beautiful. You have a great year ahead too.

I have a million recs just like every other Stay but jic no one else has mentioned it, Changbin's solo song Streetlight is one of the most beautiful pieces of poetry on depression and especially hurting when you feel like you need to be strong for others i have ever heard. PS Stray Kids release their solo or subunit songs as Stray Kids not under their own names. I think thats partially because they're stronger together... and partially because Bang Chan helps to write and produce everything. But i do believe they found themselves with each other and for the record Bang Chan actually does sing part of the chorus on Streetlight because Changbin was strong enough to let him hear the song and ask him.

There Japanese music videos don't have subtitles. That's something set by the Japanese music industry if artist want to produce and sell Japanese songs there. It's a huge market and worth it. SKZ were popular there but now they are huge and did their first stadium shows there this year at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka Japan. They had two sold out shows. It was very emotional and all the members cried because they had set a goal years ago to one day do a stadium show there. Stray Kids had 2 other stadium shows several weeks ago at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA to close out their Maniac world tour.

I know that the K-pop world can also truly be one of the most hateful and toxic places on earth. We STAY have indeed been dealing with massive amounts of hate because the K-pop world seems to think Stray Kids are the worst of the worst. Maybe because they don't fake who they are and that means they have beautifully relatable flaws. Or maybe it's because they are officially the 4th most famous group in all of kpop, yet they are a part of the 4th gen artiats (young) and who are one of maybe 4 in ALL of the combined 3rd and 4th gen who are TRULY self-made. (Seriously, 4 should be a lucky number for them at this point.) I just know that there's no reason for it, as there is an enough room at the top for everyone who deserves to be there. So, please know that STAY will do just what out name implies. We'll be here, because SKZ are fighters who have survived the odds being ever in everyone else's favor. We seem to be drawn to them because most of us can relate to that. So deep down, even though I don't know you, I do know that if anyone can make a sanctuary in the middle of a battlefield, it's going to be someone like you. I hope you fall in love with everything that K-pop has to offer, and that nobody stands in your way of finding the happiness you deserve.

Actually , straykids and stays are so close , we have a group chat with them and to give u an example of how close we are I'll just tell u : Félix( the deep voice one) text us that he was in the bathroom for 10 minutes due to constipation. Tmi Hahahahaha I really love this guys , the leader even goes live every Sunday. Welcome to Straykids, Stay! If you haven't been recommended already I recommend Silent Cry - Its about StrayKids wanting to be there for you in your time of need. Venom - Its about being stuck in a toxic relationship and not being able to get out. My Pace - Its about not comparing yourself withothers and going at a speed that suits you. And a personal favourite of mine, Backdoor - The beat, the visuals, the dancing just all of it is so good and puts me in a good mood!!

My story: at 46 y/o I was dx w/ breast cancer I was depressed and very sad for a long while. My daughter 10 y/o was also depressed and found Stray Kids by chance in 2020. One day she came to me and said “Stray Kids just made her happy mom”. When she said this I looked them up and never looked back. I’m a DinoStay but man they also make me very happy and left depression behind they are my remedy and I don’t care what anybody thinks. I’m All I.N with SKZ. I support them in every way I can. Surprised my daughter with concert tickets in 2022 when they came to Chi-town. Best experience ever. BTW 7 years cancer free will keep going will always be a Stay. #LoveStay
