They are a 6 member group, but everyone doesn't typically sing. Jungsu (keyboard) and Jooyeon (bass) are the main vocalists hitting those high notes. Of the members, Jooyeon and Juhan like metal/hard rock, Jungsu and Ode were idol trainees and like kpop, and Gunil and Gaon are more into punk pop/emo. As such, they do songs in each of their fav genres and also ballads and amazing covers. For songs in between Good Enough and Instead, I'd recommend Little Things, Pluto, Freakin Bad, Again Again, Enemy to name a few. Until the End of Time & Paranoid slower & shows off the vocals. Very talented guys

I've watched these boys develop musically, they are INDEED XDINARY. As you can see, they are not just a group but rather a band. I think it is your first. Hope you genuinely get to love them as i do. From what i know they do write themselves, each member has their own music preference which explains where their diversity comes from. Gunil, the drummer and leader attended the BERKLEY SCHOOL OF MUSIC in the US and is a musical genius in my honest opinion. Speaking of diversity, you haven't seen anything yet. Check them out from beginning to end. There are too many to recommend. They don't miss. Try their debut, HAPPY DEATH DAY, i would also recommend Break the Brake, Night before the End (good enough vibe), Little Things, Freaking Bad, Test me and Crack in the mirror. They are SKZ little brothers. Both groups respect each other immensely. Btw X DIN ARY as they are Extraordinary.

Instead is their heaviest song.The 6 of them have different styles so they do a bit of everything from balads to metal (they write and compose). Some songs like good enough are: Dear H, Until the end of time, night before the end, paranoid, dreaming girl and save me. Others that are more energetic but not like instead are: Freakin bad, test me, Little things, Pluto, Strawberry cake. Hii, I've been following for a few weeks now and I'm so happy you reacted to one of my fav groups/bands ever hehe, thank you for reacting to Xdinary heroes ! They really have diversity in their music, its amazing. They're mostly "rock" but they've started doing ballads since Good enough, which was also their first and only full English song. They shocked us all when they released Instead haha. This past year, they've started expanding their genres and trying more heavy rock/metal sounds. Xymphony is in my eyes their best song ever. Its a masterpiece, maybe the best song of all time (Im biased, but its truly a musical heaven). Xymphony was released in their latest album (live and fall), as were love and fear and instead. Their first albums still have diversity in their songs but its more going around the same style, kind of a rock energetic style with stunning vocals, really good raps and a mix of interesting sounds. Xdinary heroes do have a little lore/storyline in their mvs, even tho not all mvs are part of the story (Good enough is more of a special video). I can't really explain it but it takes place in a dystopian futuristic world where things are not fair and xdh try to make things right by breaking the rules, but does that make them villains or heroes ? (hence the name of the fandom) Btw Jun han was absent for the shooting of Good enough, he was sick, appendicitis if Im not mistaken (he was only gone for one week and they shot one of their best songs just that week, what a bummer haha) Only 4 members sing and rap in every song, Jun han and Gun il do sing from time to time but its rare (they have such beautiful tones). But all members (especially Jun han and Gun il) participate in writing and composing for a good part of their discography. They also cowrite and coproduce with some artists such as Young K from Day6 (another band from JYPE), who helped writing Good enough. They all play instruments but don't dance (some members can dance but not all of them, even tho villains like to say Gun il, the "least good dancer" is the best kpop 4th gen dancer). Gun il is the leader and the drummer, Jungsu plays the keyboard and is one of the main vocalists, Jooyeon, the other main vocalist, plays the bass, Gaon is a vocalist, rapper and plays the rythm guitar, O.de is a vocalist, rapper and he plays the synthetiser. And Jun han is the lead guitarist. They always have the same positions on stage, at the back we have Gun il the drummer and Jun han on his right. Then we have the keyboards, Jungsu on the left and O.de on the right side of the stage. And finally, Gaon is guitarist in the front left and Jooyeon the bassist in the front right. So from left to right mostly every time they're playing their instruments, its Jungsu, Jun han, Gaon, Gun il, Jooyeon and O.de. Fun fact about the drummer and leader Gun il : I saw Xdh a year ago in Paris, which was their first stop of their first tour, and Im pretty sure Gun il was trying to count all of us in the crowd (we were around 1500 ppl), he looked like a proud dad, it was beautiful. He took the place of the best kpop/k-band leader in my heart haha

One of them was born in 98, one in 2001 and the other 4 in 2002, so yeah, pretty young. The band debuted 3 years and two months ago, with Happy Death Day. lol you reacted to their two English-only songs, and they're complete opposites in terms of genre hahah There are only 5 in Good Enough because lead guitarist Jun Han was sick with a stomach virus. Good Enough is a two-parter with Dear H (which Jun Han wrote), and he appears at the end of that one - he was the one filming the whole time, in their little story. They're a band and play their instruments live, so they don't have choreos or anything like that. Jungsu and Ode had dancing training and sometimes do challenges with other groups, especially JYP groups... Yoon Dohyun is the leader/main singer of another rock band, YB. He featured in Xdinary Heroes first metal song (they have a gazillion metal influences, but this is the first metal song as I see it) and they featured in their new release, Rebellion, which came out two days ago. It's pretty good, if you like metal.

iNSTEAD! is so far their heaviest song released. This song ventures into the nu-metal genre with raw drums and a frantic guitar riff, clear vocals of the members, combined with Yoon Do Hyun's scream in the chorus, bring a post-hardcore vibe to the song. It's definitely an overwhelming song for those people who do not prefer hard rock/metal.

Xdinary Heroes ❤ they are a band not a group so they don’t dance but play instruments, drummer sub vocalist - gunil, pianist main vocalist - Jungsu, rhythm guitarist lead vocalist and lead rapper - Gaon, synth player lead vocalist and lead rapper - O.de, main guitarist sub vocalist- Jun Han, bassist main vocalist - Jooyeon. Just as a point of clarification, I wouldn't call Xdinary Heroes kpop. They are firmly classified as K-Rock to me. But they are sometimes considered fringe kpop because of their company. I listen to a lot of their music because a lot of it hits my nostalgia, but I haven't truly dug into the group as a whole yet.

I mean, it's rewarding to do it and see the fandom grow but it's not all the fan's job, we also need help from the company 😿 I say this with Xdinary Heroes but there was a time when it was the same with Stray Kids, fortunately now Stay is a solid fandom but it was very difficult for us when they weren't promoted 😿🙏

Xdinary Heroes are pretty fun! Very diverse sound. Honestly I don't think there's anything they can't do. I especially love "Happy Death Day", "Strawberry Cake" and "Pirates" "Instead" is not their usual sound xD They have a choreography video for "Test Me" xD They're not the world's best dancers but that is honestly part of their charm given they're an actual band, it's just great fun! My most favorite Kpop-Band after Stray Kids. ❤ I really started liking them right from their debut, I would really recommend "Happy Death Day", "Strawberry Cake", "Freaking Bad" (and Bang Chans reaction to that songs, especially the lyrics), "Little Things", "Again? Again!" and "Pirates". But you could also check out their covers, like "Hellevator", "Tomboy", "Welcome To The Black Parade", "Drown", "Impossible",.. They are so talented and also divers with their songs. And you should definitely check out their life-perfomances too, they are really great live. 🥰 In the MV to "Good Enough", Jun Han, the main guitarist, was sick and couldn't shoot the video with them, so there were only 5 members. I'm commenting from the Good Enough part in the video: I just want to highlight that Xdinary Heroes is a band. So to perform, they sing/rap while PLAYING INSTRUMENTS. They are not an idol group (like SKZ) who sing/rap while dancing. They are heavily involved with their music and the members are influenced by many international/classic bands we know such as Muse, Green Day, etc. They have really good voices and one of their main vocalist have been named as one of the Top 4th Generation Vocalists. And of course, they play instruments really really well. My favorite is their Lead Guitarist, Junhan.

Xdinary Heroes are a rock band who primarily do hard rock, although they are so versatile they can handle pretty much any genre! They all contribute to writing their own lyrics, composing the songs, and playing the instrumentals so you could say they are true artists ❤ Good enough was actually their first ballad, and most of their discography consists of more energetic darker rock songs like Love and Fear but they have since released more mellow songs. iNSTEAD! is their first metal song and their heaviest, so none of their other songs have screams in it (although the main vocalist Jooyeon has been practicing for future metal songs hehe) If you prefer their softer/poppier sound, I recommend listening to PLUTO, Save Me, Night Before the End, and Knock Down. For some of their fun songs I recommend Freakin Bad, Test Me, and Xymphony (my personal fave song)! I would love to see you check out some of their amazing covers too, such as ‘Hellevator’ by Stray Kids and ‘Impossible’ by Nothing but Thieves. I hope you enjoy their music because these guys are so talented and deserve so much more recognition!

Their slogan is WE ARE ALL HEROES. They are not a k-pop group, they are a ROCK BAND. Usually members stand in the same order so it's easy to learn who is who. Hey, so it's pronounced EX'-dinary Heroes. Think SKZ's Oddinary (or just extraordinary) and change the first syllable. They're, as you probably see(? I'm only 4 min in), a band, playing instruments, not a show band with the dancing and stuff. Dancing is my #1 love and, while I don't get out of my SKZ bubble as often with other K-groups, they're incredible. They also seem to have way more English songs than most, from what I've heard? It might just be what I've heard though. And Villains is genius, for a group called Heroes, imo. Now I want to follow them enough to be considered part of their fandom just for the name, ha! (I hate the term "stan" because I'm old enough to have been in high school when Eminem's song came out, but yeah.) Anyway, love your videos!!!

Also, Chan from SKZ reacted to Freakin' Bad in 2023 and was so upset (in a good way) that they found a way to drop the F bomb safely, kind of, before him, ha.
