So our task is to get as close to the enemy as possible before getting spotted. And thus, the game of cat-and-mouse becomes a game of survival. All that's left to do is to weld on a Picatinny rail and rig a collimator sight or a night sight… Most of this stuff is jury-rigged, I welded it on. Added the bipods too. It works well. 08:09 Normally this gun is belt-fed from a large ammo box, which is a pain in the butt. So we do it Schwarzenegger-style, like in "Predator". So, when we need to blow up Russian landmines -- since our motherland gives TDFs no tools for that job -- what we do is scrape C-4 out of the reactive armor blocks. They are a great source of plastic explosives, I'm telling you. 9:02 And this is a spent Stinger. The very one that took down Ka-52. It was Dima "Phantom's" guys who did it. They shot down two choppers in one go, one from "Igla" and one from Stinger. We've got a pal who is collecting all kinds of garbage for the future museum of war. We are saving it for him. This Stinger goes into a museum. 9:25 Come, I'll show you something. -- This is a 5.45 mm round for the AK-74. The next one is 7.62 mm for our "Pokemon" PKT. And this puppy is 12.7 mm. It pierces BTRs like butter. Can even pierce a BMP if you aim well. It's for the "Kord" 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. We got two of them. We took them off the Russian tanks. One of the tanks we blew up, the other one we captured. ----- Part 7 ----- 10:00 Most folks have strange ideas about what reconnaissance scouts do. They think we clench tactical knives in our teeth and creep like ninjas in the dark, sneaking into places that even a cat can't get in, to capture enemy soldiers for interrogation. Every time there's some kind of fubar, they say, send in the scouts! There's an enemy machine gun nest -- send in the scouts! Like we could turn sideways and bullets miss us. I assure you, night vision devices detect scouts just as well as anyone else. And we scouts walk and run exactly the same way you do. And an enemy shrapnel goes through us as easily as through the next guy. ----- Part 8 ----- 10:39 After the war I am going back to doing construction work. I made good money with it. The only thing now, I'll try to spend much more time with my family and friends. And rather than thinking about the size of the next Plasma TV I'm going to buy, I'll travel more.
