Universal design and greater capacity for the Prince Moulay Abdullah complex in Rabat
Work continues to reconstruct the Prince Moulay Abdullah complex in Rabat, after the old sports building was removed, by demolishing all facilities, before the start of the construction process, which will extend for months before the work is completed and the anticipated edifice is produced.
Moroccans learned about the anticipated design of the Prince Moulay Abdullah complex, which will appear in an international appearance and will accommodate 65,000 spectators, with a higher capacity than the previous one, which was around 45,000 spectators.
In addition to the modern design, which includes covering all the runways, the complex will have a northern parking lot with two underground levels with a capacity of 3,300 cars, in addition to a southern underground parking with a capacity of 1,900 cars.
Entry to the stadium will also be changed for those arriving from Casablanca via the motorway, by allocating a direct entrance to the boat, in addition to linking the stadium to the tram network.
Work has begun on some stadiums, and it is expected to include others in the coming months, as part of Morocco’s preparations for the upcoming events at the continental and global levels, especially after the bid to host the 2030 World Cup, in partnership with Spain and Portugal.
