Yes, you could see he was not well. Like in the Puoli seiska interview. He was so tired and sick in it... I think I have a clip from the same day he fell ill. You can really tell he's not well. It's "Käärijä in rehearsals - YLE news clip 27.4.2023" And the reason I haven't translated the Puoli seiska interview is that I can't watch it anymore. Makes me sad.

It's just a nickname. "Kärtsätä" means to burn. Like you burn yourself in the sun or you burn food. But this doesn't really have anything to do with the nickname afaik. 😄 Finnish people tend to give lot's of nicknames. Another one is Kärtsä (means nothing).

Well done! I recently asked similar on another channel ... there's only so much you can take after a while, isn't there? She got a free ride for a long while as other people are mostly easy-going ... and also some of it would have gone under the radar for those not using the 'translate to English' setting. It was the off-the-scale nutty hate-speech stuff about Bojan and Jere's friendship which finally moved me to request the channel's owner do something - which they were more than happy to do (they hadn't done the translate thing so hadn't realised). Phew!

​@tinas.4591 If you look at it the way the Finnish look at it no they never appeared to me. Finnish people know how to meet caring friends with one another without it being sexualized. That is one of the many things I love so much about the Finnish people. If they care about you as friends and as friends you mean a lot to them they are not afraid to show it that don't act all uptight like they can't be super close unless they're dating.
