Solar said that they had planned the MV shoot for that location, on that day, wearing that white dress, but they hadn't expected snow. She was concerned about disappearing in the video with white on white. She was quite satisfied with the results and talked about her eyes becoming a focal point. When I first watched it, I thought it was fully intentional to do the white on white and was a very creative stylistic choice.

Solar Gamsung, or Solar Emotion/sensitivity is a project she did before the solo albums while the other 3 were doing solo songs. Gamsung is all covers. It includes a solo version of mamamoo star wind flower sun but all other songs are covers of other artists famous ballads in their country and one from japan. She did this over a couple of years until 2018, she always said she would get back to the project and that is apparently this week, 6 years later. There are 10 other songs, my favorite is the first, lived like a fool. Be prepared, most of them will cause tears both of sadness and happiness, heartbreak and one fun song she does with Onewe backing her as the band. Really be prepared for Nada sou sou, the little girl will make you cry. She did do these songs live when they came out only in korea. All but two songs have MVs, though you can find live of the star wing flower sun. Solar Gamsung is one of the reason why Solar is my favorite singer, she is my Bias in mamamoo but really she is my favorite singer anywhere in the world. I do suggest doing reactions to these.

Wow! Solar just continues to hone her craft. After watching the live version, i can hear and see constant improvement in her singing. Yes there are the signature big belts here, but some of the notes she hits during the verses. 😳❤ That lower register is oh so beautiful. Now, Solar isn't my favorite female kpop vocalist, she isn't even my favorite singer in MMM. But, I'm just gonna say it, currently she is legit the best female singer in Kpop. Hell, I'd put her up against any female singers world wide. Ya I said it!....and I'm right.

As for Moon Byul, my favorite is Absence. There's no MV but there is a performance video which shows off her dancing.

There is a live version of this as well. As is so often the case with Mamamoo I think she sounds even better in the live. I'm always unhappy about how little attention Solar gamsung gets. It's covers rather than originals but she actually had a Solar Gamsung, solo concert back in 2016. For Moonbyul I will again suggest Shutdown. Lyrics are vital on this one. Maybe do 2 listens?

pt 1-7 are all part of her solar gamsung project which dates back to 2015 with pt 1. all these songs are covers of older songs that have meaning to her i think? most of them have mvs which are in the mamamoo channel except star wind flower sun (solo version)

Solar has absolutely amazing vocals. She is the reason I got into mamamoo. Her live-vocals, also, are so insanely strong. That ad-hoc solarsido of Spit was insane. In a frikkin small room shot on an iphone but her voice is so insane. This song was the perfect birthday present for me as it released on that very day.

I know you got burned with Wheein's 25. You don't need to worry about that anymore. At least until there is another OT4 release, there are no more solos included on Mamamoo albums. Gamsung translates to emotion or sensitivity. Parts 1 through 6 are mostly ballads and covers but done in her style. 1 through 4 are single songs, but 5 has two and 6 has four. Part 6 includes my first experience with Onewe. For Moonbyul, I recommend Iljido. It's a fun song with a nice performance video.
