K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth Deck Tech!

I built this spicy Mono Black to remember my roots of when I first started playing magic in 1994 and I wanted to bring that joy here, so here is my K'rrick Bargain deck!

This has been my favorite build of Krrik I have seen yet. I am building something very close to it. Is there anything you almost put in but didn't? My group is semi-casual and has a no infinite combo, no tutors house rule. What would you have included in place of the tutors?

I have to admit that when it comes to the total card interaction I can be blind to it sometimes. So as far as cards that would have gone in that I didn't Blood Celebrant. I honestly didn't see the interaction with k'rrik. As far as tutors, you could sub in things like imps mischief, feast of sanity, necrotic ooze. But just remember things like rampant growth and three visits are technically tutors as well so if your group plays ramp spells they are playing tutors. Last as far as infinites, you'll need to remove sanguine bond and exquisite blood, they go infinite

You've got Asmodeus and Skirge Familiar, but no Necrotic Ooze? Ooze on battlefield + Asmodeus & Skirge Familiar in the graveyard = discard 3 cards to draw 7. I also didn't see Blood Celebrant.

I actually took blood celebrant out of the deck. I don't use necrotic ooze either, not really sure why, I think I was feeling other cards. I have since retired this deck.

A super card that I think is underplayed is Feast of Sanity. Every time you discard a card, you do one damage to any target and gain 1 life. Would work well with Peer Into the Abyss.

Hello, how would you rate the power of this list, i want to play it with my group. Want to know if this is to powerful or not. They mostly play upgraded precon.

1). ‘Ka-Ball’ kinda like ka-boom; 2). As-moe-dee-us. I generally go ‘whatever’ with fantasy names, but these are neither so I thought I’d help you out. 3). Toss the Demon’s Horn; not even close to be worthy of a slot in a nice deck like this. My pick: Myojin of Night’s Reach. It’s likely game over if you can land this the turn after K’rrik is in play. Both have to stick the landing though - damn counters/removal. 4). That means Lightning Greaves & Cavern of Souls are worth the price of admittance.

You're gonna have to fight me on Asmodeus because it seems like the interent is pretty evenly split on three different pronunciations, yours and mine are 2 of them haha. You can chalk up Cabal to me just being lazy and trying to move quickly through the content because you are correct about that. As for the suggestions, I've retired the deck for the time being, it was a bit much for the group I was playing with. Good suggestions none the less!
