I completely agree! He is arguably the weakest and most selfish leader Ethiopia has ever had. His primary focus was maintaining his own power rather than working for the betterment of the country. He was never willing to take risks or fight to keep Ethiopia strong and united. Along with Issayas, he divided the country to secure their own control, carving it up along ethnic lines. Now, the nation is further fractured, consumed by civil war. When will Ethiopia have a leader who genuinely cares for the country and puts the people above their own self-interest?

For those who seek to distort our history and deny Eritrea’s pain: Eritrea’s journey to independence is marked by immense suffering, resilience, and determination. Our people endured the brutal rule of Haile Selassie, who illegally annexed Eritrea in 1962 and stripped us of our autonomy, political rights, and cultural identity. This history is not up for debate, nor is it open to the manipulations of those who seek to rewrite the truth. For far too long, Ethiopian lobbyists and propagandists like you have spread false narratives, claiming that Eritrea was always a part of Ethiopia. But the truth stands in stark contrast to these fabrications. Eritrea was never a part of Ethiopia by any legitimate means. Our land was forcefully annexed under the leadership of Haile Selassie, who disregarded international agreements and the will of the Eritrean people. Ethiopia itself has never been colonized, which raises a simple yet crucial question: How can a nation that was never colonized claim that Eritrea, which experienced Italian colonization, was part of its territory? Eritrea’s history is distinct and separate from Ethiopia's. Before Eritrea was forcefully federated and then annexed by Ethiopia, we had our own governance and identity. The attempts to erase this truth and claim Eritrea as an eternal part of Ethiopia is nothing but a lie propagated to justify aggression and occupation. To those who continue to spread this false narrative, let me remind you that Eritrea fought and sacrificed for 30 long years to reclaim its rightful place in the world as an independent nation.on 24-05-1991-Ethiopian armed forces were forced out of the country and Eritrea was liberated.and on 22-04-1993 to 23-04-1993 Finally the Eritrean people had the chance to determine his own future through a UN referendum (99.908% voted for independence) and on 24-05-1993 Eritrea declared its sovereignty.. The world witnessed our struggle, and the blood of our martyrs cannot be forgotten. No amount of propaganda can erase the facts: - Eritrea was colonized by The Ottoman empire made Eritrea one of its colonies in 1557 and colonised it for 300 years. After that Italy from 1882-1941 again , The Egyptian Khedevites took over Eritrea from the Turks in 1865 not Ethiopia. After 1941-1952 The British rule over Eritrea from 1952-1962 The UN forced Eritrea federation with Ethiopia by the Resolution 390-A(V) - After World War II, Eritrea was federated with Ethiopia under international oversight, but Ethiopia violated this agreement, and on 14-11-1962 Emperor Hailesellasies of Ethiopia has forcibly dissolved the Eritrean Assembly and illegally annexed Eritrea as its province - Haile Selassie's regime committed countless atrocities against our people, suppressing political dissent, burning villages, and killing thousands. - Eritrea’s war for independence was born in 01-09-1961 Starting of the Eritrean armed straggle for Independence. out of Ethiopia’s illegal annexation and oppression, not out of any historical unity with Ethiopia. Ethiopia’s imperial ambitions and Haile Selassie's tyranny cost the lives of many Eritreans. We will not allow like Ethiopia propagandists and activists to erase the truth with their distorted narratives and politically motivated agendas. Eritrea is a sovereign nation today because we refused to accept the falsehoods forced upon us. To those spreading lies: Stop the fake propaganda. Recognize the truth of Eritrea’s history, our struggle, and our pain. Eritrea's independence was not granted-it was fought for, and it will never be taken away again. Our history is written in the sacrifices of our people, and no amount of distortion can change that. The world knows the truth, and so do we. The truth prevails, and Eritrea stands strong-always. ዓወት ንሓፋሽ👉🏼🇪🇷❤️🇪🇷🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫

The question remains: what have you truly gained from your independence from Ethiopia? Eritrea is far from being the ideal place to live. The persistent hatred toward your neighbors and unwillingness to cooperate have always been the root of the problem. Stop exaggerating the suffering and challenges caused by Ethiopia. The rest of the Ethiopian population faced similar hardships and pain. The truth remains that Ethiopia has historically had access to the ocean. The fact that European powers, the Ottomans, or other foreign forces created your current borders doesn’t give you the right to deny Ethiopia its rightful access to the sea. Ethiopian history and its immense population will always overshadow your smaller population by any measure. The best path forward is to work together and grant Ethiopia fair access to the sea. Otherwise, it may eventually happen by force. Lasting peace cannot be achieved by continuing in isolation. Nations like Egypt and others, seeking to weaken Ethiopia, may have supported you, but cooperation, not division, is the key to progress. Take a step back and reflect.
