Its crazy how it works right now. An ability that gives you damage resistance and knocks back enemies which can both be used as counterengage or disengage? That is wild. At least the change will be skill expression since you need to plan out your play instead of being like "omg im losing pretty bad what if i just dash away now?"

Ksante main here. I am 100% ok with this change. We get the tap W partially back and an AoE Fiora passive. In return we have to be a little more careful with it and how we decide to use it. More skill required and more reward.

The goal is to make his teamfighting ability weaker. Now if you ult someone back into your team you can't just pop back into tank form for the rest of the fight. I think the damage is a good tradeoff for the uncancellable ult

Why aftershock.

Smolder top. You're not getting to auto ranged champions outside of all-in trades so grasp is basically useless. Aftershock is very easy to proc and the bonus resistances also count towards your Q. Basically get tanky, Q stronger, and some damage on your trade. The longer cooldown of Aftershock lines up more realistically with your trade patterns.

everytime I watch a ksante play and show off highlights, they are sitting there getting hit by every single ability, dodging nothing taking literally no damage and they just kill the other person through extremely short cooldowns and way more damage then the champ should have. Impressive? I guess?

Honestly if they just give back being able to move the W (and lower the damage to compensate) then I like it. Yeah the lower cast time on Q and slower dash would feel bad but the damage would make up for it. If the W stays the way it is I think his popularity will plummet even more.
