The 3rd Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival will take place from August 15th to 18th, 2024, at Thiruvidanthai Beach, East Coast Road, Mahabalipuram. An unforgettable experience showcasing a stunning array of kites from France, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and more. This festival, organized by Global Media Box in collaboration with the Department of Tourism Tamil Nadu, promises excitement for all ages.
Rs.200 for online ticket. offline/counter ticket is rs.250. Ticket and seating for carnival i Rs.600 per head.

One of the worst scam festivals. Not worth paying money, no basis needs like drinking, rest room, baby feeding room and ambulance. Food stalls are higher in cost and Shop keepers ask for more money than MRP.

If you are not bothered with sun/heat and if u want to see how the kites are launched, you can go at 2 pm itself. Otherwise go around 4 pm.
