Geomembrane Pond lining helps in water conservation. We lose maximum amount of water stored in tank, ponds & canals due to water seepage into the earth which reduces the efficiency of the canal and Ponds. Pond liner is a boon to the Farmer during droughts. With help of this stored water in the Pond liner it can be used for agriculture without depending on the monsoon rain. It is also used in Aquaculture Industry to prevent saline water from entering the neighboring fields.
An impermeable pond lining is used for water retention, including the lining of lakes, garden ponds and artificial streams in parks and gardens. Pond liners need to be protected from sharp objects (e.g. stones) below the liner and from being punctured by any objects in the water body.
