Once again an excellent interview by Mr. Nagarajan. Mr. Natarajan, new to PTP is a good choice, calm, collected and prepared. Mr. Nagarajan's critique of Kangua was excellent. He did not exactly review the film itself but used the review as a vehicle to expose the hyprocricy and virtue signalling in the film industry. He makes the point that movie actors use their fame and popularity to influence young and malleable minds to their political or social views. Once these actors plant their ideas into young minds, they become captive audiences to that particular political party or to that party's ideology. This modus operandi seems to be a pernicious virus especiall;y in the Tamilnadu political scene. What is particulary brilliant in this video is how Mr. Nagarajan foretells that the corruption which has become endemic in Tamilnadu will not only continue but increase when actors (pick your name Kamalhasan, Rajnikanth, Surya or the latest entry Vijay) who do not have integrity in their personal lives or businesses are handed the reins of government. He challenges these actors to release details of their income, the taxes they paid, whether they were paid all in white money etc. If their personal lives and businesses are stained, corrupt and dishonest, their governance will be equally corrupt if they come to power. Do the lakhs of young people joining Vijay's party realize this ? If more utube channels and hosts pointed out issues like this, it will make for honest airing of the political realities of Tamilnadu. The quality and content of your interviews continue to impress. Kudos Mr. Nagarajan.
