7:34 kind of a metaphor for racquetball right here. two of the greatest players in the world right now playing in front of some random guy on the right. instead of watching these two pro athletes he decides to nonchalantly do his row machine workout. classic, haha. i'm not judging him but it shows that it's hard for spectators to appreciate what these guys actually do on the court. part of the problem with racquetball and its decline.
@isiah83232 ай бұрын
The seats are behind the court. They were full for these games.
@Fernandez2182 ай бұрын
@@isiah8323 thanks for telling me. how many people were there behind the court approximately? wish i knew beforehand. i look a bit like a fool with my comment, but, to my defense. still, i don't think i've seen any other sport where there's some random people doing their workout while top class athletes are five feet away.
@isiah83232 ай бұрын
@@Fernandez218 No problem at all, its a bummer you can't see the crowd in the video's it would make it a little more fun to watch. About 30 seats behind the court but it was a small space. Not much viewing room to begin with.

I agree, but thank God for youtube so the real fans can enjoy these matches. There's nothing better then racquetball on a 60 inch HD TV. It's sad that it has lost its popularity, but South America is keeping it alive with great talent and Kane is an immortal GOAT from another generation.
@anwarsadat68252 ай бұрын
Sadly I must concur. On television screen you just cannot appreciate what is happening on the court. If everything was seen from the lens of a high-speed camera in slow-motion then you would appreciate how great this sport is and what effort is involved. At my age I have switched to Pickleball but I Racquetball is a more challenging sport without a doubt.

No. Not even close. He's so untouchably the best to ever do it that it's kind of silly. If racquetball somehow had a resurgence and there was enough money to pull the ultra elite athletes out of other sports, we'd probably see some competition but sadly that won't happen. Parrilla will never be able to match Kane’s career, he is already WAYYYY behind. While I understand keeping respect out of the court when you compete, sounding off is in poor taste especially in our sport. Racquetball may not be quite the gentlemanly sport of Tennis or Squash but it is not far behind. Also NEVER EVER poke the Bear or the GOAT.
