I got mad love for memphis like nobodiez buziness but Bone didnt copy memphis style. Plus, when Bone wuzz "Bandaid Boys" back in like 1987 they had that same style + beat-boxin lol Both groups iz tha shit tho n they squashed tha beef n strted collaboratin dont git no betta den that manne.

@@mikepowell7938Here’s the thing they fail to realize... Bone was rapping fast they was on the same level as Twista during faces of death.. The thing is they wasn’t using that type of flow on this track like Lord and Koop doing... Cause remember Eazy E heard of these guys and met one of them before and other Memphis rappers who tried to get put on with that style way before Bone came into the picture. Even Twista changed up his flow when he heard guys like Skinny pimp, lord and Koop and k rock. Memphis changed the rap game in the mid to late 90s to the 2000s...

@davidblake654610 жыл бұрын
Jason Chu That's because in an interview in the vibe magazine, Bone called Memphis a bunk ass town. Tommy Wright III even states why he dissed them at the end of the thuggish ruggish bustaz song: "I used to bump em but fuck em I read what you said in that book I saw the Vibe Magazine Februrary issue Talking bad about Memphis Tennessee playa" So that pissed off a lot Memphis rappers it was also an expansion with their beef with 3 6 mafia at the time.
@davidblake654610 жыл бұрын
David Blake I was wrong about this both these songs came out in 1997 but in 94 Bone had the ep Creepin on ah Come Up which it's popularity started inclining from there and in 98 was selected as the source's best 100 rap albums.
@a_drenaline63627 жыл бұрын
I am a hardcore fan of both. I give no fucks bout some 25 year old beef. They squashed it but for some reason some of the fans didn't. Bone had way more melody and harmony in their style. Their shit was adapted from a Jamaican style. That's why they always said me in place of mine or I. Listen to FOD and tell me that shit ain't got a Jamaican flow to it. Memphis had they own and Cleveland had they own. Shit, if anything both of them were biting Kool Moe Dee. That cat was spitting rapid flow patterns in the early '80s. Everybody needs to quit bitin KMD's style, real talk. 🤣
