I've used to be a fan, but now I'm an air-conditioner. No, seriously now: Respect to Cooller how he handled this situation when k1llsen refused the handshake. He talked respectful about his opponent. Really bad sportsmanship from k1llsen! I understan,d that this title was a really important one for him (he already got one title in Italy). But especially from k1llsen the fans do expect a different behavior. Kudos to Cooller, who perfectly represents Russia and the Russian Quake Community!

Nothing to add. I always saw K1llsen as a happy and fair Player. He is always nice and friendly in his streams aswell. But seeing him act like that just because he lost to Cooler is really really bad. And surely alot of people have lost alot of respect for him which will hurt him more than that loss did. Watch the at other players, coming from the USA just to do few games and not even winning them, still able to shake hands. There is no one to blame but yourself when you lose.

It was bad as it looked. Killsen addressed it on Twitter but his response was something along the lines of being in a hurry or being rushed, and that he forgot lol Rapha probably had the biggest reason to be mad / disappointed coming in ranked #1 and losing to cypher who was a late addition and didn't play the game as much, but Rapha was still was professional and shook hands afterwards.

So as per Killsen's Twitter: "And sorry about the no handshake we have to pack stuff immediately after games and I didnt see or thought about it actually." I call BS on this. After so many matches there where Killsen DID shake/hug afterwards -- NOW he forgets? Also every other player didn't look rushed to tidy up after their match; so instead of congratulating Cooller on his Finals berth(or just a simple 'ggs' shake) he chose to snub Anton -- a player he's competed against for more than 10yrs? At this point, an after match handshake should be automatic. I could also see if his head was down in disappointment -- nope -- just a hurried, frustrated affect to get the hell out of there. I'd have more respect for him if he threw up his hands or somehow visibly processed the loss. Doesn't add up Mr. Marcel. (@38:12 Cooller stood there for almost 30 secs waiting...then shrugged at the snub. Killsen showed zero interest to look just 30° to his right)

I share Cooller's happiness, he got his revenge against k1llsen after the lost Quakecon Finals 2019! When Cooller was younger he wasn't always an 100% ideal, but still not unfriendly, maybe a little bit vain. (Cypher said in an interview from 2011: "Anton is a hard guy to understand sometimes. Sometimes what he is doing doesn't look good, but in general I think he is an interesting person to talk to about real things...") This is a long time ago and Cooller has became more mature. Ofcourse it has something to do that Anton is married and is father of a son. But he doesn't behave like a arrogant child (see k1llsen). I was hoping that Anton would beat him and be back on the throne. Even if it's only for some months, it will boost Cooller's confidence. Keep it up Cooller! Trust in yourself!

Не ну Антон очень уверенно играл. Наказал килсена, доминировал по стрельбе и контроле карты. Видно было, что килсен нервничает, допускал ошибки, а Антон только нагнетал обстановку своим гаунтлетом 🤣 Наконец таки Cooller доказал всем, кто тут топ 1 😎 Вышло очень убедительно, хорошо подготовился и показал не только майнд гейм, но и высочайший аим. Шафт у Coollera, словно он в ку3 зашел в 2004 ))) Остается моим кумиром видимо до конца quake движухи 👍🏿😭 P.S.: Понятно почему K1llsen не вышел на поклон Coller'у ))))))))

I used to be like that when i was like 14. But it is still very uncomfortable to lose even nowdays for me. Im only human. There i a reason why i dont gl hf gg etc. I want to stay calm and just play a computer game as if im playing against a bot. When you lose to a bot there are no bad feelings. Anyway this just shows how stressful pro gaming can be: only one person wins. It is like gambling with the odds stacked against you.
