What's wrong with the original tubing in the CFS ?

Agreed! I can see replacing my tubing when it fails but why "upgrade" to a lower diameter tube?

Nothing at all, these guys just like making videos. I find the tubing Creality uses to be top quality.

the cheap mass produced tubing can vary in quality and mixture of things in the tube. creality for years has used fairly sub par tubing on most of their printers with differences between batches. now with something like the cfs constantly pulling the filament in and out your filament becomes very coarse and starts to break down the inside of the tube and it carries bits of ptfe into your nozzle as it degrades and eventually you start having extrusion issues. tubes like capricorn and tough tube have a better quality and a better mixture of ptfe often referred to as "virgin" so they have less friction and they dont break down as fast. at some stage you will start getting blockages or extrusion issues and you will wonder why creality provided you with replacement tubes, you will use those tubes and the issue will go away for a while then you will start to wonder... what if... oh and i also forgot to mention it can be a bit more rough on the tube when you are using more exotic filaments like cf, the harder the filament the harsher it is on the inside of the tube.
