Found out that The Clog was caused by the ORCA slicer settings, Changed to using Creality Print and its Working well. Due to the Printer being still new, the Gcode doesn't seem to work correctly on color change.

Whenever you see someone screwing in something with pliers instead of a wrench you know you are dealing with a true professional !

Very informative video. The two screws in the front, and the one screw inside the right middle are the only screws needed to remove and of course, the filament needs retracted and the teflon tube removed as well as the two little electrical connectors for the sensors (Squeeze the tab and pull). There's a socket and handle in the toolbox that comes with the K2-Plus that I've found works fine to remove the unicorn nozzle. I don't even pull the Silicone sock off, just push the socket up and it will engage into the nozzle allowing you to unscrew it. Also, if you have the CFS, it may be beneficial to retract the filament, then cut off a few meters off the spool until you get to clean filament since some filament may have gotten chewed up in one spot by the CFS feeder. One other thing not touched upon is the reasons for clogging and how to prevent it. Nozzle Temperature is the most important thing to get right and extrusion pressure is another on this printer, among extruder fan speed...etc. I've found the firmware on the K2-plus needs lots of work, like the process for simply feeding (extruding) the filament causes the machine to home and wipe, which you may not be expecting it to do, especially if you have used other printers. It would have been nice to have an actual hardware E-stop on this printer, or even just a way to easily move the printhead to a convenient place to work on it, then a convenient way to disable/enable the motors with the lights on. With the current Firmware (V1.1.1.7) when the printer faults out, often it disables the motors, then you have to Z home it to get it to move the printhead even in the X or Y direction, which is not too convenient IMHO.

Can you do a video please on the disassembly and assembly of the extruder, a lot of people are having issues on the spring. Thanks!
@ladbeigeАй бұрын
any other things you think would be required? i can do that one for sure.
@ladbeigeАй бұрын
Actually instead of taking the part out where the spring is, take out the pin and gear on the right side, then you can also access the filament stuck in there. so you dont have to bother with the spring.
@paizonryker7101Ай бұрын
@@ladbeige mine was wrapped around the underside of the part that holds the spring.

@@ladbeige Sometimes the piece of stuck filament is big enough that you have to remove both gears, but I've found that when installing the lever and spring, with the spring in the lever, place it down at an angle then compress the spring by pushing in on it, then sliding the gear and plastic holder into place. of course when removing the gear lever and spring, hold onto the spring so it doesn't fly across the room and get lost next to all your other springs, C-clips and 10mm sockets.

how did you get it plugged? I have a k2 with 400 hours on it and gone through all the approved filaments and have not had any issues.

Ta drukarka niestety jest niedokończona. Podobnie było z K1. Muszą poprawić kilka rzeczy.
@COWGUYVTАй бұрын
It's more finished than the k1 but it definitely needs more firmware updates as well as a few hardware revisions.

@@COWGUYVT Za dużo kosztuje, żeby robić z siebie beta testera. ;-)
@ladbeigeАй бұрын
Its like all of the newer printers these days, they really need to get in to contact with the people with ORCA and Cura etc and make the slicer settings first before releasing the printer.
@COWGUYVTАй бұрын
@@ladbeige why? Just do it like modern game devs. Release it to your most loyal supporters then treat them like beta testers for a year while you make the product actually work.

@@COWGUYVT Nie maja na to czasu. Rok w tej branży, to przepaść technologiczna. Prusa zwlekał ze swoją nową drukarką i dzisiaj pokazuje "nową" z rozwiązaniami z ery dinozaurów. Został w tyle i to jego koniec.
