Kirk, I just wanted to say that I have seen many videos by numerous golf instructors and to me your system makes the most sense. I have just begun implementing your methods into my swing and already I notice less back strain and more consistent ball striking. Thanks, David

I’ve been working on impact with short swings and it’s amazing for me to observe what I thought was a good position really wasn’t. Getting the hang of it finally and getting my hips open. Before on video my hips faced the ball at impact.

Kirk, great presentation of how easy it can be to learn correct impact! Love how you get your point across in such easy to understand explanations and with the visual demonstrations to help. I'm very thankful I found you and setup 4 Impact years ago, it has simplified my game and I'm sure many thousands of your students feel the same. Excellent presentation with clear and concise information. The single plane swing is really helpful in making the game more enjoyable.

I like the consistency and logic of this method. I'm amazed when I look at some pretty big youtube golfers tips and there so many strange knots you have to tie yourself in, positions and swing thoughts. And they contradict themself! In Rick Shiels "Backspin video" you should "not flip" but the hands, sternum and face should be in a vertical line at impact? From the same guy who said "mark the calendar" last time he got an up and down in break 75.

I whole heartedly agree with Tony Griffin below. Since starting Setup4Impact last year I have seen a slow steady improvement in my game. I also want to indorse Kirk as a pro instructor. He believes in his system because he sees the results. I have seen him customize/advise golfers in his school to help them make Setup4Impact work better for them. He instinctively knows how to correct and encourage clients in person and on V1 videos. These videos are awesome and I watch them all (sometimes more than once) when they come out because I always pick up something new. But attending one of his schools is like getting Tesla Insane mode for your golf swing. I started at age 69 and nearly shot my age playing just 9 holes of golf last year. After adopting Setup4Impact and attending Kirk's school with Tony, this year on the same course my best 9 hole round, so far, is a 43 and believe I missed a couple opportunities to go lower that day. People who see me play now don't believe the progress I have made in a single year. I practice to get better, I play to have fun & for socialization and playing better makes having fun so much easier. The 43 three weeks ago was a glimpse of what I can do, now I look forward to the when I break 90 on 18 holes instead of hoping to break 100, thanks to Kirk and Setup4Impact.

Kirk, I follow a similar swing to what you teach and Bryson. Problem is, I seem to hit up on my irons and I find it hard to bow my wrists when keeping a straight wrist at setup. Any tips on hitting down in a single plane? Thanks!
@Setup4Impact2 жыл бұрын
Hi Patrick, You do not need to bow the wrists at impact unless you are trying to use a neutral grip which from my experience will work with very few people. With a stronger grip you can get the hands leading while keep the leading wrists straighter. I myself do not think about the wrist. I focus on getting the handle leading by using my body properly. My drills teach you step by step how to do this on my website at setup4impact.com

Dude good info, but you’re really long winded. More concise and to the point instruction would be better for hour videos
