K30 Trail Build, cutting a TON of squarebody frame rivets!

This week we work on the K30 Trail Build, my 1982 Chevy K30 squarebody. We removed all the old brackets from the frame that we wont need anymore, getting ready for all the upgrades! We also received the custom leaf springs from Offroad Designs (ORD).

Just found your channel and subscribed. 1984 in St. Augustine, FL I ordered a K30 w/454ci, SM465, 4.10 gears, A/C, am/fm cassette player, dual tanks, Indian Bronze Metallic Paint with Maroon interior, and few other extras, it took 4 months to finally receive it. In Fl it was so heavy it sunk just about every where I went. I put 10” of lift and 15”x42”x16.5” TSL Super Swappers and that fixed my sinking problem but when ever I’d go four wheeling all I got done was pulling others out especially my buddy from work he’d hit anything as long as I was there. Sold it to a high school friend back in West Virginia he wanted it if I ever sold it. Wish I still had it. I now live in Newnan, Ga and I’ll be following this build.

Tallassee Alabama here. Just starting my K30 build. I always cut an "X" in the rivet head with a cut off wheel and the air hammer mows them off very quickly.
