Lone Hero is unironically fine, the issue is just that Lux doesn’t get mana-locked when she shields herself like any other unit with a self-shield. If she did then this wouldn’t be possible and they’ll likely add that in next patch to fix this. The unit individually is also way too strong anyway so she’ll likely get her damage brought down as well.

@tsarven5674 lone hero not lux heroes augment , it can be use on other heroes augment as well with groot to have those can cc immune and get damage reduce from lone hero , its not a bad augment and its not a good either , you have to priorities your carry other whiles if some team comb can damaged your back like early before your other front line die , the the augment will not activate, but lux is on the other hand , her mana lock make her different from other shield buff champ , we've seen other champ get no mana lock when using they skill from other set like diana set 11 when she can kept healing from her skill and still get mana ready for her next before she even end her first , its created alot of mess when u can build ton of scale for it with mana and just go like urf on tft , its not balance and to be honest , her skill scale is not balance either , having one cost one shot entire of other is not balance

The trick is to fight stupid with stupid. Once it's just you and them sell your board and throw in units that beat her, not a team comp just units. Rebel, Viktor, Morg, Scar, Elise and then a big damage dealer. Another good counter is "rooted" rumble in the back corner

I think the comp requires alot of setup and things to go your way in order to be viable, I don't think it should be destroyed entirely, just nerf Lux's dmg/shield/mana or nerf the lone hero augment/anomaly whatever works best so it's not as oppressive when you do manage to get it. I actually quite enjoy these once in a blue moon comps when stars align, it makes the game more diverse/fun for me instead of running into the same 5 comps over and over again.

Family and visionary arent even that good anymore. Kog reroll is only broken with automata spat and also requires a malz and is therefore not forceable (and noc reroll is also not broken without fishbones). The board in this video requires a specific silver augment and anomaly to be this strong which is even less forceable. The 2 actually strongest comps in the game are rebel and dominator silco, both of which are fast 8/9 and emissary flex is also very consistent and is also a fast 8. The current meta is actually quite good. You might just not be as good as you think you are because fast 8 is typically harder than reroll but these boards have a higher cap than any of the reroll boards
