@@ariasta the shield is from scrap, mercenaries just give bonus gold/items/neekos/units… basically every time you lose something gets added to a chest and the more you lose in a row the better the stuff in the chest will be, you can only take the stuff out of the chest when you win

How do you play the end game in this set? I always crush early game and mid game is usually at worst mild losses, but it seems like no matter what items I build or what comp I run, I just can't beat the top 1-2 people, I'm basically stuck getting 3rd or lower. Is there some strategy I'm not aware of or something? What's the MOST important thing for the end game? Advice from anyone at all is appreciated.

I think a lot of people spike their boards at 4-2 or 5-1 People Level to 8 and roll down and pray you hit your units. Idk have fun ig lmao

Finished masters past 2 sets so might not be best advice but most of the time when ppl have strong earlies and lose late it’s due to the lack of a good transition into good end game comp/understanding of the meta. I think just watching streamers to know what’s strong and copying when/how they transition will help u win more

To finish the game top 1 in this meta, you need to aim for the "perfect board". Everyone has too much money with mercs and yordles, so you need to understand what your late game looks like in advance. A perfect board in set 6 includes augments, team comp, and items. If you have excellent synergy with all 3 then it doesn't matter which comp necessarily - just the fact that you are so capped that the distance between you and others is really large. And, obviously, to achieve the strongest possible team comp that goes with your items and augments costs money. So... go mercs or yordles if you can, or win streak HARD and pick a top 4 comp, or pick econ augments. The thing that separates diamond from masters is bank roll management.
