K53 Motorcycle test for South Africa

Heres some footage of my K53 yard test, I managed to pass and am now legally driving around.
This footage is just to show you what the yard test involves and by no means ensures a pass.

Thanks for the video dude, very detailed and informative i just passed my test on Monday, but just so people know, its definitely not the same everywhere, so the must check other K53 videos to get an idea of the differences, but otherwise helmet mounted cameras are the way to go to know exactly what needs to be done

Congratulations! I'm really impressed at how easy you made it look on that monster bike of yours. 😳 I agree that it can be done without lessons, but I don't like leaving things to chance. Another plus is that I already knew the course - meaning my test was over in about 10 minutes as the cop didn't have to explain what to do. #JustMyOpinion

I did mine on a GSR600 and a 50kmph wind so you can do it on almost any bike as long as you take the time to get to know the bike

K53, what a joke, thank goodness they are rethinking it. Passing K53 is all about remembering how to pass K53 and nothing to do with actual road safety

Oh by the way .. early days of bike licence. Not even learners yet. Got a drivers licence when I was 19. Just got the urge to buy a bike and thus the licence. Wait for it ... I am 55 years old SON! 😂😂😂

Hi Martin, what is the speed limit around the speed management curve? I know you said 22km, I failed my license because the instructor told me to go over 25km to 30km. Glad I found your video.

With a standard motorbike with every pull off you do a 360 view, 1st gear, 360 view and go. If you go with an automatic how does this work - 360 and pull off immediately?

Hi today i had my test and i failed, In your vedio in 2:25 you said you failed ot two times and you just managed it , do you mean by that in the same day and gave you and other chance or you booked twice , because today i touched the line and he told me i failed he didn't gave me any other chance to do ot again :(

Hey man, Thats a 2stroke right? I wouldnt advise it for the road. But if you like, you can have a look, theres a channel called Jenny's Garage. The guy on there just converted his dirt bike to road legal. most of the information will transfer to us here in SA

Hi Martin, just a quick question. . Doing my test on Tuesday , also using a bigger bike as i'm much more comfortable on it. Just wanted to ask if you have keep off that curved line prior to making your first turn during the left turn exercise. My instructor says you cant touch it but just wanted to get another opinion.
