I feel like they just fell back on some generic tropes to make Halo into a tv show rather than make a Halo tv show. Master Chief has always been the man of the hour in the Halo games, but that was more because he was there/stood up/survived. In the show, they are doing a "chosen one" sort of thing but making him intrinsically linked to a forerunner artifact. Making it a part of his past. Probably in a way to make him more human or have more of a character but it just seems lazy to do it that way to me.

this character ( KAI 125 / Kate Kennedy) has great potential in the series. i would love to see more of her or the story following her arc as well. she is an amazingly strong female and very likable character. Amazing acting by Kate Kennedy

It was handled in such a poor way that it's a tragedy. man... IF ONLY THEY LOOKED AT THE DUCKING LORE!!! If you wanted to show the insurrectionist side at least make us sympathize with them by showing us how they struggle, siince they are alienated from the rest of humanity bc of they think the UNSC is unfair and show us how lost they are once the covenant arrives.... make them form bonds with marines during heavy combat when they realize that both sides have always been humans and ultimately accepting the spartans as such for survival... THE WHOLE POINT OF HALO IS MAKE YOU FEEL PROUD OF BEING HUMAN, EVEN IF YOU MADE HORRIBLE MISTAKES. Not this badly written fan fiction

Why in the actual f*** would they cast a black actress as Miranda Keyes? That makes no sense, Miranda Keyes skin color is NOT black. She is a top Character in the Halo series. She is white. It takes from the immersion of the show and is distracting. If she was Black in the game, then great. But she’s not. I hate when this happens in entertainment industry nowadays. A woman who has white skin, dark hair, and green eyes could’ve been casted to play as Miranda Keyes for lore accuracy within this show. Someone white should’ve also been casted to play as Captain Keyes while Danny Sapani could’ve been casted to play as Sergeant Avery Johnson because both men are black and have some resemblances to each other.
