Goodness me, that takes me back to the sixties. I still remember firing matchsticks from the launchers, the flame out the back, and that amazing cutter. I expected a cheap, plastic version, but the weight seems like the metal original. That took me back about sixty years.

I myself owned quite a few of these Corgi Batmobile's back in the early and mid 70's when I was a young teen as well as the Batboat with trailer as well it truly brings back a lot of memories from those days, and to this day I own various other different Die-cast style Batmobiles and Batman vehicles, boats,planes and helicopters,and motorcycles and so forth from Corgi, Hot Wheels, Round 2 and various other companies as well and have the entire original 60's Batman Series on DVD!😉👍.

@@timetravellingtoycollector4149 I never knew that they made a Batcopter I would truly like to see how it truly looks I have the Hot Wheels 1:50th scale one and it looks just like the one from the 67 movie and the Batboat with trailer for the Batmobile with the trailer hitch by Hot Wheels, And yes it would truly be nice if Corgi brought back the Batboat as well!👌.

That would of been my main worry that not so honest people would attempt to sell it as an original toy from the 60-70s so it's good they've made minor changes.Yes I remember owning this in the 70s even seeing it in your hands brings back so many memories.Thanks for showing us this wonderful toy from our past.

I just wanted to add that the bat boat is in the planning stage and if you join the club you will receive the flat black Batmobile version which was originally produced for 6 months starting in 1966. Other models such as the yellow submarine, chitty chitty bang bang and the silver db5 are scheduled for 2025.

I just got this one on the mail yesterday! Absolutely beautiful! Corgi this one justice!👌🥰👍❤️🦇by the way! I did have this one way back in the 70s. The originals didn’t have the red stripes either! Either you had to customize it yourself or leave it the way it came!😂 I got mine straight from the Corgi website, if you’re trying to buy it on the second market or eBay! You’re going to pay for an arm and a leg 🦵 for it!

@@jeffreyrigby7324 yep as mentioned in the vid. But the original was the same, so as a reproduction of their classic interpretation it’s in line with their original but with some augmentations.

None of them ever had the red pin striping but it's still a very fabulous cool Die-cast Model of the original though indeed!😎👍.

​@@timetravellingtoycollector4149Since there was not a red ps on any of the models (yes. I have the 2 of the original), I was wondering if there was a reason "Not" to add it. My guess is that It may have been omitted due to production costs because they definitely had permission. I actually have 2 of the originals that i added the pin stripe on one of them and have never unboxed the other.

@@jeffreyrigby7324 Yes I have the one's from Polar lights Round 2 and from Corgi of the comic book versions of the 66 Batmobile and they didn't come with the red pin striping either so I used a red fine lined paint marker and put them on and added the red bats on the doors and they came out very great indeed!👍.

I’ve got an original corgi batmobile cut out advertising board about 7’ wide that I acquired a few years ago from a guy who found it in the road in the 70s

Hold it the 3 pack you are remembering I believe was only in the small scale. I do not recall seeing anything but the large Corgi size depicted here. Note the Red paint is the correct RED pigment not the bloody orange the Chinese knock off were using. The scale size shown was rare in Canada, Corgi would give store vendors a whole display case with a large cover that you had to ask the owner to open and the large scale cars were over $5 dollars cdn or 3Quid UK ? Even the smaller Dinky size was 1.75. It was fun just to look at but of its scale it didn't make Dinky car playtime especially with our Hot Wheels Rolls Royce and Eldorado ...

All this old stuff like this is pathetically disappointingly disgustingly extortionate, from diecast models to stuffed toys, it just blows my mind how people charge so much for this trash. (even looking for metal and/or custom glass chess pieces had my mind blown at the prices, i mean, who da funk plays chess on a board anymore ffs).
