During winter, we hardly water our potted overwintered chilli plants because they stop absorbing nutrients while dormant. Weâre in the process of creating a guide on how to water chilli plants during the winter months.
Wonderful helpful video .... Is it applicable for dhaka weather, what is the similar plan for dhaka , I believe here rainy season is the deadly time? Thanks... Also please mention the temperature , sunlight and humidity range for plant health
Thank you for your excellent very details description video. One question, can we keep that tree in dark place like closet?
@bgreenfamily2 Đ°Đš ĐąŌąŅŅĐŊ
Thank you so much for enjoying our work! These overwintering chili pepper plants need some light to survive, even during their dormant phase. Potted plants still require indirect light to stay healthy. Without enough light, they can become weak or start rotting. Itâs best to place them in a cool spot with some natural light, such as near a basement window or in a shaded area indoors, rather than in a completely dark closet.
@sumiakther74912 Đ°Đš ĐąŌąŅŅĐŊ
what's the name of the spray you used in the video (plz show in a video bhai)? Is their any bug repellant for indoor plants?
@bgreenfamily2 Đ°Đš ĐąŌąŅŅĐŊ
Youâll find the link to the bug spray in the description box for more information.
Bhaia I have basement no sun there , I donât have any conservatory outside , still if I follow this process, the plant will gonna survive ?
@bgreenfamily2 Đ°Đš ĐąŌąŅŅĐŊ
Thanks for your question! If you follow this process, it will keep the soil protected, but plants still need some light to stay healthy. In complete darkness, especially over winter, it can be challenging for them to thrive because without light, fungus can start to develop, which may eventually harm the plant. If possible, try to give them some daylight, or even consider using a grow light-it will help keep your plants healthy đđĄ

Can I also leave in the green house? As I do not have much space at home
@bgreenfamilyĐĐš ĐąŌąŅŅĐŊ
Yes, you can definitely leave your chili plant in the greenhouse over winter! Just make sure the greenhouse stays frost-free by using a small heater or adding insulation, like bubble wrap around the plants. Keep the soil slightly moist but avoid overwatering since the plant will need less water during dormancy. With a little care, your chili plant will survive the winter and thrive again next season! đđļī¸

Doing this process to keep the plant dorment is very difficult. Easy way... just put the plants in green house. You will get more chilli.

I just save some plants indoors for next year . I learnt it myself, it's a good way to save time! This summer I did not have to buy morich at all. Also home grown morich has .much better taste and flavor! Thanks for ur tips!

Wa alaikum salaam Apu. I bought the long red chillies from Amazon. You can find them by searching âChilli Mirch Masala Seedsâ on Amazon. Additionally, I got some medium-sized long chillies from Bogra, Bangladesh. The whitish variety is called Basket of Fire chilli. đļī¸
