Kaaji revolves around the lives of a young widow Lakshmi and her son Manja, who belong to the Scheduled Caste community in a distant village in Karnataka. Spun into the world of discrimination, the film explores the compassionate bond of a mother and son amidst the brokenness of their lives. It gives us a glimpse of their daily routines and how discrimination wasn't seen as something unusual as it was the norm. The story draws parallels between the lives of the upper the caste and lower caste communities in the 21st century, through subtle nuances and customs followed in the village.

Dear team, 1 like for your effort and 1 dislike for the mindset of negative people. So, does that equalise or nullify ?!😦😧 We know, Aishani and Hitha are intelligent enough to choose and portray strong emotions. But, not everybody is so intellectual to understand nuances and the inner meaning. I know, action speak louder than words. But, not everybody is sensible enough to grasp the unsaid emotions you see. Some people don't even get the irony or sarcastic way of story telling. Hence even such a video has dislikes. Having said all that, this was indeed thought provoking. I must say, I was disturbed. People may be confused if I am commenting or complimenting. That was state I was in when the video ended. Mixed emotions is the word. Nevertheless, the team needs a applause. 👏 Kudos to you people. Kaaji (ಬಳೆಗಳು) ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣ ಮತ್ತು colour grading ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿದೆ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರಾಲಂಕಾರವು ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ But still there was something missing in the film... Overall the movie was a good effort to bring the talents..
