Kaasik Paaku Celebration 2024 || Old Tupi || New Tupi || Pullung || Noksa || Tirap District

Kaasik community celebrated their Kaasik Paaku Festival with great enthusiasm. This festival is a collaboration of four villages viz Old Tupi , New Tupi , Noksa and Pullung. The main Motive to celebrate this festival is to preserve, promote and protect their old age traditions and cultures.

When we talk about language i think here is common nocte language which is generally speak by all major Nocte villages eg Borduria , Kheti etc but we Lapnan people speak Wancho Language because we are migrated from Wakka . But in this vlog i was talking about Traditional dance song which is about to extinct this days KHAPA language 😢

@@tangbangbangyang2659 That's interesting 👍 Wakka language is again very close to Tang village of Konyak. May I know how different are Borduria and Kheti languages from Lapnan village language? I believe it should be mutually intelligible with Lapnan to a certain extent.

@ what we speak is exactly the same with Wakka language. And Borduria and kheti and most of other Nocte village speak the same But again Tupi and this four village speak different

It seems, it was because of our headhunting culture that our ancestors tried to settle as far from one another as possible. The variations within our languages/dialects are the direct result of living in isolation from one another for hundreds or perhaps thousands of years. Hope, we younger generations can do what our ancestors could not do i.e, unity and integration of our people. Our ancestors could never have dreamt of this because they were culturally-groomed and psychologically predisposed to kill one another. I don't know how your elders think of us Konyaks, but believe me bro, we care for our kind. It's a crime against humanity that a people of the same ethnic stock has to be divided along superficial tribal lines created by the British. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Sending lots of love and prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏
