Kabam knows what they are doing.If deals break the game again it just effects those in the top 20/30% chasing the top 10% in that and pressure them to spend.Doesn’t effect the 70/80% of other players because they aren’t considered with the top and by the time any even get close Catalysts and resources will be flowing for free like crazy right before R4s become a thing for the top %s to spend and fight over to get.

The best thing that I love about spring cleaning is when we buy the Odins and the other unit deals we get to keep the units we get because we only spend poolies it's great lol

Two points of concern for me; 1) The majority of the free "poolies" are available from one Solo event on one DAY - what are those objectives going to look like? 2) There's an earnable T4A from Act 8, a "free"T4A from this event (remembering they "don't value time as a resource"), how much are they going to be selling T4A for as part of these sales? I just fear Paragon players are being lured and baited for a milking.

If there's a new item, I would almost expect either 7* sig gems/crystals, or 7* awakening crystals. I don't see generic crystals coming until, at least, July 4th sale. It is still pretty early to see t7g cats (although I wouldn't put 5% of one / Odin out of their wheelhouse). I think this event will involve more champ crystals, t4a cats, and GOLD than most other things. Coming off the heals of A8.4 and the swell of (new) valiant players...there are a lot of vaults that took a hit. Champ crystals can replenish iso and give new possible rank-ups, t4a is their hot-ticket item, gold bonuses replenish vaults. The rest is fluff to make the deals slightly better and more appealing to "casual" spenders

I’m hyped. Just really getting into Battlegrounds after getting Valiant from 8.4. Almost to gladiator circuit and expect this event to skyrocket my roster. Last year’s event was insane.

Looks like T4A floodgates are opening if Valiant can get two for free. I’ve been hanging onto 5 T6CC in a few classes for r3s in case this happened. I hope 6* relic nexus crystals are part of the offers. I don’t need anything relic related other than a better chance at pulling the 6*s that I’m missing.

The FTP to spenders really depends. Have a few folks like Enzo, USAFA who will buy out the storee. Bless em. But most spenders likely between $10-$300, maybe $400. Lots of times they ‘shaft’ spenders by giving crystals. Yes 5,400 units and a 7 star and 10 crystals looks ‘sexy’. But it’s not. Get a 7 star you never use and a bit more units. If they give a good amount of the currency though and it’s useful in store, plus rank up for unit offers then maybe. My budget will go from $10 to the upper range. Really depends how generous. They’ve definitely down ramped spending value since July 4th and catered more towards FTP. IMO of course. I do think a rebalancing is needed for better spending value. But not another July 4th. Somewhere in between.

Hey, Im thronebreaker. Should i get the 15k 7* shards and 15 paragon crystals or the 1-2 rank up gem and the t4a? I have 3 7*s as of rn (Sasquatch, Hyperion and IMIW) and am pretty far. I would probably r2 my sassy if i get the gem. Which deal should i pick? If the latter, should i save the gem? Btw I have an r5 6* ascended sig 100 Scorp, r4 ascended hulking and a bunch of r3s. Thanks :)

I'm not saying that people shouldn't earn more with money, but that's where the balance aspect has to come in to play.

I guess it depends on how many r3’s they sell, but I’ve get that the game used to be extremely p2w and that recent offers have been mediocre (so f2p isn’t far behind)

@@dazzlingpurple756 Yeah, the latest events have been mostly balanced to some extent, not having nothing 7*r4 related is also good, let's hope they continue like that, but with the most recent one anounced(omega days) i lost a bit of hope, although you'd have to spend a bunch if you don't have a lot of units to get everything, idk, we'll have to see.

I have the same concerns about the monetary deals, and I m hoping that Kabam, will focus on the new exclusive 7* pool there, 7* sig stones (not more than 50 imo) and maybe an awakening gem for the whales. This kind of model won't affect the economy of the game, and everybody will be happy.

Remember the data guys. Vast majority do not spend at all. If they don’t make the Odin’s very worthwhile, then no game. For the average spender. There are a few, to maybe a few hundred that MCOC is their hobby and they have the means. Enzo, Damn Epic, USAFA, etc. Kabam listened and really tuned down spending offers post July 4th. To lots of crystals which can mean nothing to an account. They will have to switch to more rank up and crystals for spending if they want to capture the dolphins not the whales. We shall see….

But regardless, like it or not, if the guys who spend the big dollars aren’t enticed to continue to spend, this game that we all love--goes away. And it’s universally agreed that the last Black Friday deals were meh, after the phenomenal July 4th deals. Which means that Kabam over-tuned down the deals in response to the vocal backlash of some disgruntle content creators regarding the July 4th deals. Free-to-play players should not expect to have as much as players who spend hundreds and thousands on this game. There money has to have value. Otherwise there’s no need for them to spend it. And if they stop spending, this game goes away. I don’t want that to happen. Do you? Does KT? He shouldn’t. He claims to love it. So like I said, don’t start that crying KT. Let Kabam advance their business model--so that we all can continue to enjoy this game!
