Thanks! I prefer simplistic light fishing for the river. max 5kg mono with a small bullet sinker (just to get some distance and not get towed by the tied) and a long leader (+-50cm). 1/0 j hook. bass rods are superb for river fishing as well. medium heavy 7ft.

Hey JutesX. Anytime from October through to April should be ideal. Winter Season can be slow.
