Ciaz is amazingly perfect car....it's well put to geather car with all necessary things...on the other hand honda city is most balanced card in the segment ... verna is most beautiful car...and rapid is most powerful and treat for driver...I own new city ciaz and a rapid...and I personally feel ciaz is as good as new honda city in built quality but lacks other safety feature...but trust me no one can match upto rapid. It's a unsung king.

I used to own a Rapid before Ciaz. After 5 years of Rapid, the water pump, EGR valve and the turbo all failed. These are common problems faced by all the owners. ABS sensor failure is routine as well. The cost of repair was 2.5 L and I sold it for 2L. Complete loss of value. I bought a ciaz after that, having owned a baleno, the cost of spares is negligible and the resale is excellent. We have a Maruti service center literally every 50 KM in this country where as when I owned the Rapid there was only 1 service center in our state and that too was in Agra. No service center in major cities like Kanpur or Lucknow. Surprisingly people who have never owned a Skoda or a VW recommend them. They fail to see why Maruti is successful in India. Critical parts almost never fail. And if they do they cost Pennies to a dollar. A Suzuki turbo costs 20K where as a skoda turbo was around 1.5L when I last heard.

You won't like the Ciaz if you're used to the Sx4. It's 250kgs lighter. Go for the Slavia. It has a similar stance to SX4. High ground clearance and curved design.

Yes. You can get a top model for around 11L on road. Honda city starts from that range. Having driven both, ciaz feels more refined but Honda city has a better rev range. It's not worth the additional 3-4 L.

Bro My family have a i10 second gen and a seltos , well i10 is a good car we have driven it 1lakh + kms still running , no issues at all Mileage is around 15 kmpl in City and max 17-18 kmpl at highways , but its a low maintence car you can go for it , plus it have some really good features acoording to the 2010 era .
