If you are about to visit the eastern India, do visit Jharkhand (Indian state) in the east, it's totally hidden for the westerners. Full of dense forests, nature and mountains. Do visit there 🙏🏻 it's actually bordering Uttar Pradesh, Very quiet from the northern India

May be since the number not in use, it can be allocated to other customer who would have done MNP porting to JIO from Airtel with same number and again the customer would not used the sim card after some period. So the sim card MNP last updated would be JIO.

The SIM cards are deactivated so that it is not misused by fringe elements. Ideally, as a foreigner you should do monthly plan recharges unless you are here for a very long period like Jenni.
