Kabhi Saas Kabhi Bahu is a comedy series on DD National channel based on the 3 generations of Awasthi family, whose head Mallu Awasthi (Abhijeet Lehri) lives with wife Sujata Awasthi (Shama Deshpande) , son Viru (Iqbal Azad) and his wife Hema (Shushmita Mukherjee) , grandson Mohit (Vije Bhatia) and his wife Kaajal (Sonica Handa).
Hema never became a slave to her mother-in-law, Sujata, but she makes her daughter in law, Kaajal slog. Both Sujata and Kaajal team up against Hema and she must fight to maintain her position.
