laibasana7 who said modesty means u lack confidence? my sister got married, confident looking all gorgeous but she wasnt grinning from ear to ear. she did the odd smile etc... "its her wedding day" but she is leaving one family and going to another. she is getting married into another family. as asians the wedding is a family affair- its not personal. thats why we invite about 500 people. there is nothing wrong with enjoying the day, laughter and tears but if u wantthe western tradition of being totally out there like alot of brides do, u may aswell have a white wedding. not an asian wedding.
