Though we hear about this kind of thing, someone taken in and cared for turning on the person or people who did so much for them, and it is truly horrific and the worst of humanity, it's important to know there are many stories we never hear about where the opposite happens. I know a woman who had a really horrible upbringing, abuse and neglect and her friend's family took her in and helped her in so many ways as a teenager and young twenty something, and she managed to get to college and earn a degree and get a good paying job and saved up, opened up her own business, made a lot more money and turned around and gave back, giving the couple who had helped her so much enough of a boost that they were able to retire and are living their best lives now. Without their help she would have likely ended up homeless and dropping out of school and not having a great life at all, and without her help they would be working into their twilight years just to survive. So there are stories like this too out there, thankfully. Many of them.

To let you know about what happened to the four killers. A news report showed that Tiffany's death sentence was overturned because the jury's decision was split 7 to 3. The Supreme Court ruled that a death sentence had to be where all jurors had to be in agreement. So new sentencing trials were to be held.

I don't understand where all these murder happy thieves come from either. This has been happening in Puerto Rico for years. Retirees are prime targets. They get robbed and murdered. In retaliation he put a pipe bomb in his car and connected it to the ignition. When Steven, his adopted brother Scott, his mother and sister went to the car, Steven claimed he forgot his tape measure and gave the keys to Scott and went back inside. His sister was the only survivor of the blast other than Steven. It only took six weeks and one day to get the evidence to arrest Steven.
