Rava/ sooji - 1 cup (fine rava)
Ghee - 1/3 cup
Water - 3.5 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Few saffron threads
Dry fruits ( almonds, cashews and raisins)
Add orange or saffron food colour

Kavitaji, proportion of sugar is 1:11/2 to 2 cups for rawa kesari. Also, the rawa has to be roasted lightly in ghee.
