As a Canadian this is the Winter norm for us. We have the infrastructure to deal with this stuff. Your temps turn everything to ice. Not fun at anytime. Tommy John is nice stuff too. Have a wonderful Honeymoon.

Some advice for all you TEXANS down there........SLOW is key......if you slide always look the direction you want the car to go......if it is a pure sheet of ice walking to your car...if the main road is the same......DO NOT DRIVE it is that simple!!!!!! YOU NEED MORE SANDERS & SALT!!!!!!!

Good tip on the rewards credit card but I will add a caveat to what you said which is most of the rewards credit cards carry a very high interest rate (20% and up) so don't do it if you cannot pay it off at the end of the month on a regular basis. Anyway, we have two rewards credit cards; one of them pays us 2% back on everything we buy and the other one is the Costco rewards card which we use to buy all our fuel (4% reward on ALL fuel, not just Costco), 3% reward on restaurants and travel, 2% rewards on all Costco purchases, and 1% reward for everything else. BTW, I don't work for Costco, just think it's a good deal. We used our rewards to pay for both of our kid's honeymoon when they got married...

I live in CLL, but used to live near and work in downtown Dallas. I lived there during the snow and ice storm of 2021. I think this storm was worse without the near zero temps. I have a Built CC, and they are amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who pays rent or just wants an awesome rewards card. I think you can get 6x points eating out any 1st of the month. You can exchange your points 1:1 with most major airlines or even save up for free rent! Loved your Ulta haul. Because of my extremely dry sensitive skin, my dermatologist has recommended only using Cera Ve so it’s good to know there are travel sizes, too. I use almost exclusive Urban Decay makeup and I love love love the All Nighter, too. I have the travel size I keep on my vanity and refill from the big bottle. I didn’t know the travel size leaked so I’ll get another spray bottle like you got for the AN. I have one just like it that I got at H‑E‑B for a $1 for my hairspray when I went to Europe last year. They are wonderful! Looking forward to the honeymoon vlog. Hope you made it out okay!
