Rather curious about the inflight emergency and the availability of the IV and Blood pressure cuff. Is that something carried on the aircraft or was it provided by the Dr. flying on that flight. I'm a medic and fly from time to time and wonder about handling medical emergencies. Thanks

Kacey, I’m about to be a flight attendant myself. I’m not familiar with what makes an aircraft likable vs not likable in the eyes of a flight attendant. That’s for me curious, what do you dislike about the 737 and like about the Airbuses?

The doctor is required to go with the patient because a doctor is the top of the medical chain of custody and cannot pass off a patient to someone who is on a lower level. A EMT-Basic can pass to another EMT-B or up to a EMT-Intermediate or paramedic or nurse or doctor.

Enjoyed this vlog. Been to Germany numerous times but never to Munich. Your video makes me want to go even more. BTW: toward the end, was that Mt. Rainer in the video? I use to travel through Seattle a lot in the 80s and got a chance to actually go up the mountain on a clear day. It is spectacular.

beccakozak I just saw your question to Kacey. As for a Sherpa sweater you might try Betabrands. They have a black wool one, which actually looks more dark brown than black. Run $99. Apparently black wool is an “in” thing right now because it is so rare. Got one for my daughter-in-law for her birthday in February. Really looks sharp. So check it out.
