It’s easy to say “I knew he was the one“ when they actually become the one. But when you are so convinced they are the one, and they don’t turn out to be the one, then when you think someone new will be the one, doubts come in. That’s why we have to trust Gods plan and not go on our hearts whims

Exactly. There's no such teaching/view in God's Word about finding "the one." I don't know where this idea came from. Probably Hollywood. It's not from God's Word.

I have been promised marriage several times by fake Christian men. Most recently ghosted abruptly on Easter Sunday. I am having a really hard time being older and unmarried at my church. It is very hard to keep hope. I don't know why this is a desire of my heart if it seems like it will never happen. I love the Lord and am waiting not so patiently anymore. It has been over 14 years. I'm 32 and serve my church in a pastoral role. I was engaged to be married but the engagement ended suddenly. As soon as some members of the church learned this they immediately went to asking when im going to date again, even going to the extreme of signing me up for a singles ministry without telling me. One parishioner offered hjs granddaughter as a potential partner. Im simply praying that God sees me through this season and eventually will provide a spouse, and even if He doesn't then at least His will is being accomplished

Why did your engagement "end suddenly"?? Thats very usual....If they are the 'one' most of the time you can reconcile...
@cocoloco7387
@cocoloco7387 Жыл бұрын
@@tundereinhardt4676 You admitted it was unusual because maybe it was the influence of God. Anything unusual is not a coincidence it is usually the influence of God or Satan. Maybe this man had to go through a season of waiting or preparation to finally meet the 'one' or maybe the 'one' as you emphasize was not prepared to commit fully to him so again God may be using these seasons he is in as a refinement period for both himself and his ex-fiancé to either get to together when prepared or to meet their actual 'ones'.Don't completely forget the hands of the lord since this man is in ministry with the Lord not just as a pastor but as a child of the Lord ready to submit to his wishes at least by mentioned comment. God will use his authority to those who submit to him to do what's best for this man. You do not just get to reconcile and expect everything to go back to perfect.You're doing it in your own strength and that's just futile.

I knew my husband was the one a couple of times. The first time was 3 months into dating, we were cooking a meal together and I simply looked up at him and heard "that's my husband," in my head. It was so bizarre that I would've thought that, because up until that point I wasn't even in love with him! I certainly had never thought that about any guys in the past. So I shook it off and moved on. The next time was when the lockdown happened and I couldn't see him for 2 months. I had also gotten really sick at that point and was stuck in bed for 3 weeks. He FaceTimed me every single day that I was sick and would sit with me while I watched tv, ate, napped, whatever. Because he knew I hated being alone. That was when I knew for sure that he was the one for me.

I had the same thing happen 2 times! I was in the kitchen with him when we were dating and he I looked at him and thought “I’m looking at my future husband”, but it wasn’t like it was ME, it was like a knowing! My arms actually went numb and I felt my legs get weak, and I said “I think I need to go lay down for a second” and then my legs actually gave out on me, and he caught me (i know, it was like a movie 🤣), and he picked me up and laid me on my bed and I couldn’t walk for like 10 minutes! But the crazy thing is I didn’t have real feelings for him yet, and I didn’t feel anything in my heart! It was all in my body, my body absorbed the shock! A few months later I was looking at him and thought “he’s my other half”, but again, no real feelings. We broke up and a year later we met up and as I sat down and looked at him for the first time in a year, I thought “that’s him, it’s him”, but again no real feelings! We weren’t really dating from then on but we were talking, and I fell in love with him! We got back together officially the following February, got engaged very quickly and we were married in May! I didn’t actually know in my head AND heart that he was the “one” till A MONTH before we got married! I still had doubts, and I kept thinking “I’m gonna have to break this off and tell everyone I made a mistake!” But in that time of being engaged, I begged God to not let me marry him if he wasn’t the one and God gave me a beautiful dream where I saw the man he truly was, a good man who loved God and who loved me. We were long distance (literally opposite ends of the US) so we didn’t see each other until 2 days before the wedding! Now we are very happily married! One thing that happened right before we got back together in February was I was just begging God to help me know if I should be with him or not, and I said “I can’t figure out what I need anymore! Only you know what I need! You give me whoever You want me to be with!” And I know we hear that often, but we also hear of the “checklist” we need to have! But people aren’t so simple…sometimes your checklist isn’t the best thing! Because how can I know what I need? What I REALLY need? Only God knows! Sorry for the novel haha

I knew my husband was “the one” pretty much when we met his freshman year of college. I had transferred to the university the year before so I was a sophomore technically. I had heard about him in the campus ministry we were both involved with, my friend and I saw him on campus and I introduced myself (which is very abnormal), I thought he was a cutie and he really knew the Bible which was just so attractive to me as a newer Christian. We became friends at the end of 2019, went on a mission together, evangelized to Mormon missionaries together every week from October to January (and during that time I would show him movies that I liked he had never seen before) and I really wanted to know the Bible like he did. He had recommended a pastor to me, Voddie Baucham, and I read his book “what he must be” and I just thought of him the entire time. I began to pray about it around late January-early February and asked God that, if it was His will that we should be together, then he would be the one to really make that first move. We started dating by February 20, 2021, got engaged September 19, 2021 and got married March 18, 2022.

What a beautiful question! I would definitely say the moment I knew that he was The One was when I realized the depth of love that I have and feel for Jesus is the depth of the love that I have and feel towards my husband. In everything he says and everything he does, he reminds me more of God, of the promises of God, of the peace and love and joy that can only be found in Christ. That’s how I knew he was the One. I have two beautiful Godly step-children and we are now expecting our first baby in December.

The most important quality in a potential husband is his capacity to love -- God and me. I just wanted to drop a note and tell you how much your videos speak to me after just discovering your channel. I'm older than you are (!) and have gone through a traumatic divorce/marriage abandonment after years of standing and praying for him and marriage restoration. Now I have met a man at church who I believe God has been putting me together with. We really like each other and some amazing things are happening, but we are just taking it one step at a time right now. I've been seeking the Lord on it and so far, so good. ❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@paolarocha5992 I can relate in the sense that I was the person who has done this to someone. From my perspective, I wasn't ready. He was, blindly. It was his first relationship and it was my third serious one. It moved very fast and we were both happy but I wasn't in a place yet to get married although it's all I've dreamed of from a young age. He also brought my closer to God in ways I had let God out of my life for a while. Hm, since I don't know all the details of the situation it's hard to say (and I definitely recommend inviting godly people who know you to speak into it!) but I would say that if he's not ready/it's not the right timing, it's generally best to let go of it as hard as it may be 😔 God can always bring him back into your life if/when it's right, but if you hold onto the hope of him in your heart, it may end up hurting you ultimately or even keeping you closed off to someone God does have for you! Again, I don't know the whole situation - but those are some thoughts 💛

Ok recently i watched a lot of films in common content like yours. I’m 23 yo and I never had a boyfriend. 2 years ago I saw this guy in church. Since then we saw each othcher from time to time in our suburb but we don’t each otcher by names. Suprisingly my friends know this guy. But since 2020 I still think about him and someway I think that he will be my future hustband. I know this is weird. I pray about this whole situation because I’m so scared and nervous and unpatiently … Jesus I Trust in You.

Kaci , just hold on, you are an amazing godly young woman , and I can see it just by listening to your God entered understanding of marriage an what to know about a man before marrying. Please just slow down, and 'breath' in-between sentences. Love you a lot, but please wait for me , Im 72 and want to forward this to my granddaughter, as she's at that stage of her life where sooner or later she will get married. She is a Christian and very much aware of choosing the right Godly man to marry . I'm not trying to be rude or putting you down. You are an amazing true Christian and I can learn from you as a granny and mother. Just talk slower and rest in-between. Love you my dear 🙏❤️🌹 I'm sure my granddaughter will love you too 🌹

I heard you said have a Sabbath but my understanding is not to have a SABBATH but Keep The Sabbath on the seventh day as God command us.
@haleechrisman6941
@haleechrisman6941 Жыл бұрын
Exodus 20 The Tin Commandments, the fourth commandment is "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy" My sabbath is sundown from Friday to sundown Saturday due to it being the fourth commandment and being the same sabbath Jesus kept even in death. This belief is supported by any part of the scripture talking about the Sabbath or talking about Good Friday ( the day Jesus was crucified ) to Easter Sunday ( the day he returned from the grave). ( His body did not decay or anything of the sort during the Sabbath it was passed exactly where it was to continue keeping the sabbath through death to be an example to use what it was made for. I encourage anyone interested to read and find these things in the Bible yourself and conduct your own beliefs on these matters. My apologies if this is said weirdly. Remember that not everyone has the same learning styles or ways of connecting with other people, so it's probably you could hear someone else speak on the same topic and it connects with you more, and or just makes more sense than the way someone else explains it. God also gives each of us different gifts at different levels of use, so even if you're not good at one thing there is something you are amazing at ☺️. Some other good places to go to understand the Sabbath would be, 3ABN with pastor Stephen Bohr or Doug Batchelor, 4 Bible flock box.

Hey! I wanted to reach out because I feel like God put it on my heart to do so. I prayed a lot on this! Absolutely no disrespect. I feel like this video is shot towards just Christian. I haven't checked out your channel, but I think God calls us to be a little bit more open minded than sticking to one audience. I'd love to see some more of your awesome videos directed towards unbelievers too!! Who might not know about everything you're talking about!!! I think we should welcome unbelievers into our accounts rather than just directing our media to Christians :)

Many of us don’t even have the option to date & marry a Christian, let alone date someone who is a strong Christian, that your compatible with, have common interests with. Women like this are unicorns. I have given up on finding a Christian spouse & will have to try to convert one.

Not true at all. If you yourself are not only a Christian man but someone truly surrendered to the Lord, God can and will provide you a woman with the same values. Audit your circles too, where exactly are you looking for these saved women? And are you the type of man that would attract a woman truly serving the Lord? In summary, trust God, He is able.

@@Sunny_losangelis I don’t doubt Gods power to bring people together, but there’s really nothing in scripture to say God provides a wife. He certainly doesn’t drop a wife off on your doorstep like an Amazon package. In 50 years I have never seen God bring someone into my life. Haven’t even had the opportunity to date a Christian woman in over 20 years. It’s not that I wouldn’t, there just aren’t any.

Easy. He had strong genetics ripe for passing on. My genetics are weak which is why ill die alone and why no girl has ever wanted me. Survival of the fittest. It is what it is and nothing will ever change that. There is no plan for my worthless life, theres no "story." That's why I'll never waste my time asking god for a wife ever again. Speaking to god is no different than me speaking to my cat. Either way I've gotten nothing but silence and ignored so why bother anymore. Love doesn't exist and im done deluding myself.

Be handsome, not a total slob, show some semance of Christianity (most will take it...) and there will be a neverending stream of sisters claiming you are the one for them...they felt it...and even had "a word of knowledge from the Lord". They even prayed about it two or three times. Please, ladies. The way most postings read, you'd think there's a bloody war in the church for spiritually mature men that are short, fat, bald and with medium-size wallets. You know, the ones that would worship the ground you walk on (which is silly, anyway; Christ does not "worship" the Church). As someone that is neither of the above (short etc.)...most men know. The invisible ones, the friendzoned ones...they (most) eventually figure it out. I just wish sisters would stop spiritualizing these things. Stil spreading the theologically faulty argument that God has someone special for you - if He indeed does, as an exception, it may be because in your future there are such burdens to bear you are one of the few that could make it work. Others would crumble under the pressure, only to become widowed prematurely. Do you think I was ever asked about my Masters in Theology, or I saw large smiles when hearing I have a Computer Science degree and work as a software engineer? (And, in a way, I get it.) So let's not pretend that "good girl wish list" is all that you want...because otherwise you'd already be married by now. Most women want it all, or very close to all. I guess...all the best if you are still a virgin, if you self-deny yourself daily in all relevant aspects of your life, pick up your cross again daily, bring up your bodies as living sacrifices, are willing to follow a husband when things get rough; if you truly consider divorce as a last resort and only on Biblical grounds, know why you believe what you believe, are easy to get along with, know at least a little bit to cook, can make a difference between elevating women and toxic feminism. If you are willing to end the relationship "of your dreams" because he is pressuring you into premarital sex. If you love Christ so much that, in comparison, it seems as if you are hating your own life. The standard for Chrisrianity is not set by the emotions evoked by your praise and worship band on Sunday, but by martyrs. Where do you rank, compared to them, dear sister? Are *you* that mature Christian, or you are not, and don't have the faintest idea how a real Christian moves through life...yet (supposedly) want one? Will you follow when he follows God's leading and things end in disaster...as a test you never thought you'd live? Would you stick by him through a Job experience or take the divorce card? Traditional men (what you want) want traditional women. And there are enough of these women and true Christianity in many parts of the world. I am blessed to live in such a part of the world...yet, I may still have from time to time to open some idealistic sister's eyes over how unbalanced their expectations are, compared with reality. I've led a single's group and the amount of bad advice I had to (gebtly and tactfully) correct was shocking. Such as...(unspiritual) women downright advising their daughters to "test their future husbands by abusing them emotionally: 'If he comes crawling back to you after you (figuratively) stomp his head, he loves you, he is the one for you.'" (This was one of those Orthodox conservative women, too, for all the Westerners that think Orthodoxy is God's gift to mankingd and kept pure since its inception.) Really?
