You mentioned a while back you were going to test the wifi version, I think this is more suited to our needs. Look forward to the update before investing. Good to see you back looking more positive. Keep up the good work Andy 😊

Nice looking piece of kit. Be great if they did one that monitored nitrate, ammonia etc ?

I’ve been looking at those monitors. I want one. I have the regular 7 in 1 which works great but I feel it having the specific gravity reading is a waste for a pond. I like the pool one because it has the chlorine reading plus all the other 6 important readings. Great video. I look forward to an update on it

Hi Susan it's a good piece of kit but it only checks the free chlorine not the total chlorine levels but the other functions are great and especially the wifi.

good review..would prefer if the unit monitored Kh/Alk along with a few of the others. If Kactoily ever do that then I might spend some money. Not a cheap unit ( even with the discount option ) Good to see you in the bunker.

Thanks, mate, and I know they are always developing new products, so hopefully, they will include more of those levels 🤞

Thinking of geting one of these but been told they only measure free chlorine is that ok
@DerbyKoi3 күн бұрын
Hi mate yes unfortunately it only measures the free chlorine, but it is really good for the other things like ph, salinity etc.

Great little test monitor. But how do you know when it needs recalibrating. As it would gradually fade off and unless you had a very stable system then it would just gradually be off . Be interested to know how you get around this. I think Andy the health and safety guy. You know the one being overrun with elf's at the moment haha. I think he's gotten two. Be interesting to see how a side buy side readings. Just my thoughts and I maybe missing something. And what's there returns like as no one ever mentioned it on any of the monitors videos even when in tanks. And I've only seen youtube videos about fish keepers that have been given them. Sorry to put a downer on your video that's not my intention and I'm sorry if that's how it's come across it's just there not plug and forget play Andy I am sorry if it seems so. Give bizarrely a big cuddle and the world will seem a little better . Not right just a bit better. Remember every day's a school day. No that's him again. Job's a goodun keep smiling .

Nice review . That meter only measures free chlorine and will not pick up chloramine which is used by seven Trent . To read that you would need a total chlorine meter…..could be why you didn’t see a change in chlorine between tap and pond water

@@rhoosekoi3659 100% pretty much useless for ponds 👍👍

Hi mate, I still use my other test kit every month to check if things are still OK, and so far, they have been spot on, but you should calibrate it every six months and I have two in there the wired and wireless and they are identical readings.
